Enjoyed every minute at X Base. Staff were friendly always there to help you. houses keeping was slack, but our room was nice 👍🏼 close to everything. I definitely will stay there again. Recommend X Base 😊

The rooms are big and clean. The location is really good because it is located in the centre, in the main street. However the common areas were very disappointing. The kitchen was disgusting and not equipped. The pans and pots were dirty and not enough for all the guests. The tables were never clean and the smell was awful, and one of the swimming pools was not available. The attention of the receptionist was also very bad, one of them was rude when we tried to ask a question and they did not explain us anything about the rules of the accommodation.

Fantastic facilities for all types of camping and backpacking. We stayed for 3 nights in a powered and unpowered camper van site, the amenities were well maintained and regularly cleaned. There was some noise from the local bars in the evenings but nothing too off putting. It's a 5 minute walk from the bars and pubs, great way to get a feel for Airlie. Would highly recommend, staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Nothing can beat my stay at Base in Airlie. Really good vibes, epic staff, and an amazing room not to mention the pool. It's at the best location in Airlie as well, right by the water, among all the bars can't ask for more! MUST STAY HERE!

Hired a private three bed room for the night. It had everything we needed but wasn't anything fancy. The room was quite spacious. It was really close to the centre of Airlie beach which was convenient. They had a large room to leave your luggage during the day while you were out which was handy.

This place was the worst we have been staying during our roadtrip at the eastcoast.
- staff was unfriendly
- trip to the whitsundays they recommanded wasnt good at all (180$)
- dirty facilities and no lights in bathrooms (was a lot of fun having a shower in the evening:/)
- half of the washers were out of order
- it feels like a party hostel and Camping Park so there was garbage everywhere and people were extremely loud throughout the night
Would not recommand this place at all !!!!
Doesnt even deserve one Star!

Great spot for party going back packers with plenty of bars and clubs nearby. It's also quiet enough for those who want an early night, and the shower and bathroom facilities are great.

Backpacker hostel / better campsite. Cabins are run down and its noisy due to the bar. Lovely garden and swimming pool, but thats about it. If you re not into partying, head somewhere else.

Kitchen was horrible not enough pan, pots and not even sharp knives. And also no toaster in a backpackers. Apart from that the room were clean and big

Pro: price, pool, beachvolley and your own bathroom. Con: the kitchens were very unhandy, lack of utensils and need to borrow your cutlery at the reception. Some rooms of friends were literally falling apart and dirty beds are also common

Amenities need work but great location, no outside alcohol allowed on site which isn't good. Overall should be cheaper for a powered site than it is. Friendly staff and nightly activities are good though.
