Quite a comfortable room with a spa overlooking the ocean.

While the room was nicely cleaned, it was like stepping back into the 80s. Some windows had no screens and the tables rickety and the outside table ready to fall to bits. All very old and dated. The pool area was ok but didn't look inviting, very bland. Would not stay again at the price they charged.

It's not so close to the main street of Airlie and not far away from it. Good sunrise views from north facing units. Large spacious rooms with kitchen. It feels very homely.

Friendly staff but very much a budget stay. The bathroom exhaust fan didn't work. There is no housekeeping and you can hear between rooms/apartments.

    DISGUSTING AND AWFUL

Room, revolting & staff were awful and rude.
The owner of the hotel called a 18year old female a 'little stupid girl'.
Made 4 of us females leave our bags outside and trolly of food in 35+° heat for 3 hours, with no reason at all than made us open our bags and staff went through our personal items.
Rooms were dirty, beds were revolting, kitchen was unhygienic, appliances were broken and even the bathroom toilet didn't work.
    STAY AWAY.

You have to pay for clean towels!!! $5 a towel!!! NO HOUSEKEEPING unless you stay for 7+ nights they tell you to clean up after yourselves. No gym facilities. I asked to be transferred to a car service and they don't do this; put me on hold so they could find a number.. I hung up after waiting 10 minutes. Rooms are VERY SMALL and dated. Toilets take a few goes to flush. Double rooms are SINGLE BEDS. No room service. Awful. Just awful. Will not be returning.

Accommodation: lots and lots of stairs and a broken elevator during our visit. Rooms are roomy enough, extremely quiet. Restaurant is open for dinner only and only a few guests in several days. Rooms are quite dated, but kitchenette is well equipped. A fair walk to town or about seven dollars if taking a cab after picking up groceries at woolies. The front desk ladies are very nice and welcoming. Didn't see any other staff. Pool pics are deceiving, but on a hot day, the pool is a good place to cool off. No swimming at local beaches, but Airlie Beach has a huge public pool that is very nice. Town has lots of shops and restaurants.
