I had a very bad experience here with the owner. I brought my car in for a service and asked that he rotate the tyres aswell as the service specifically and I found out after the service that he did not. I queried the issue and he became very aggitated and was frustrated not at the fact he didn't do what was asked but the fact i questioned it. He then tokk the car back in and rotated the tyres. He showed no acceptance that he may have made a mistake and instead. I never took my car to auto masters in joondalup again as i could not trust the work would actually be done on a logbook service.

Never had a problem with these guys. Always upfront, honest and a pleasure to deal with. They don't try to baffle me with BS and have always been very competitively priced.

Ladies, sick of being treated like a second class citizen at vehicle repair stores? Then look no more!

I started coming here in 2016 as i was being treated very badly by a car dealership service department store.
Anyway, here you get a friendly face & voice on the phone. The ability to descibe the problem in a "clunck, shzzz, rrrrrr" way without being judged! In fact you will more than likely get a "oh yeah, we know what that may be!"

The office is pretty standard, clean tidy & minimalist. No fancy Tvs or couches. Thats ok though. Its a short walk to Lakeside Joondalup shopping centre across the road.
Or, as its located near Winton road you may wish to visit the many varied businesses located close by.

Ok, so theres an ad out there that says "when you drive in for a scheduled service, you'll drive out in a free loan car! You wont get that from anyone else!" Bah Booong! Nope. Automasters Joondalup has been doing this for years. No, you wont get a fancy new car but at least you will still be able to get from a to b when needed. Just fill the tank back up when your done! Simple!

Make sure you get them to do a full service check. That way if you're on a tight budget you can get the essentials done to keep you on the road! Then you can work your way through the rest of the requirements as required.

So bottom line! Waay cheaper than the dealerships, better for your budget and you get treated with respect! Im not going anywhere else. Give them a try

I went to Automasters Joondalup a few days ago for a service. I knew that my car needed a little bit of tlc, as it had missed a few oil changes. The reception team there are great, very honest and happy people. I received a call with a few issues with my car and they helped work to my budget without pushing, or pressuring me. They showed my all the parts that had been changed and even vacuumed out my car. Its hard to find a good mechanic sometimes and i will be recommending to all my friends.

    DON'T USE NOT TRUSTWORTHY
my raditor hose broke and my car emptied the entire water tank
I called then up  ask how much do you think it will be and they said "if I can't see it i can't fix it" and they tell me when  they had a look at it .so I took it in and they said they would call me when they knew what was wrong.
3 hours later I called them to get an update  and they said "they were just looking into that now and they would call me back when  they knew how much it would be". I waited another hour and went in to find that they replaced the broken part and refiled the water tank and it was going to cost $175. I then said" that I didn't authorise any work" and the guy behind the desk said "that he heard the other guy on the phone get my ok to go ahead and fix it" and I said that he didn't and the man said that "the worker i spoke to on the phone had gone home now so there was nothing he could do about it" and I was forced to pay for work that was done on my car without my permission. I wish I knew my rights in this situation because I feel that what they have done may have been against the law or at

After being taken for a ride at my last mechanics it was a pleasant visit today with Steve at auto masters Joondalup. He let me know a few things he found with my car and listed 2 jobs what needs doing today and explained some things for me to keep an eye on until the next service Ps my bill was $15 cheaper when I picked up my car. Great Guys, Great Service.

I've taken my Mitsubishi Lancer to this store twice for servicing. The first time I went, I was told there were many issues with my car, most of which I got fixed although not through automasters because what they were CHARGING ME DOUBLE compare to most places. Some things I DID NOT get fixed, such as my engine mounts which were quoted by automasters to cost me $750. I went back to the same automasters in Joondalup around 1 year later, and once again was told that there were many things wrong with my car, BUT THIS TIME NOT THE ENGINE MOUNTS even though I never got them fixed This bothered me greatly as I'm either BEING TOLD FALSE INFORMATION about the state of my car, or whoever is servicing my car is NOT looking it over with close attention to detail. This just leads me to believe that this specific automasters in Joondalup CAN'T BE TRUSTED to do work on my car.

What really pushed me over the edge though was an incident that happened today 12/5/2016. I recently had an issue with my power window where either my motor or regulator had broken. So I called multiple mechanics to see how much they would charge. The first two companies I called gave me a quote within an hour for $400 to get my regulator and motor fixed, one of which was TRENTECH WHO I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND GOING TO. After 4 hours of waiting for automasters to call me back with a quote, they finally rang me and said for the one window to be fixed and fitted with a new motor and regulator was $1295!! Over three times as much as the other two businesses! I was told some excuse that they can't find the right motor and regulator for my car so it needs to be ordered in directly from Mitsubishi thus making it more expensive. I jumped on eBay and found the correct part for my car in under 5 minutes and it only cost me $64 so I taught myself how to remove the old motor and regulator myself today and will install the new one myself when it arrives. If going through this with automasters, I would Have saved myself $1231!

NEVER AGAIN WILL I BE SERVICING MY CAR OR LOOKING FOR WORK DONE ON MY CAR AT THIS SPECIFIC AUTO MASTERS AGAIN. I WOULD CERTAINLY NOT BE RECCOMMENDING IT TO ANYONE.

I had previously had a good experience with Auto Masters in Osborne Park, so after recently moving to northern suburbs I thought I would try the closer Auto Masters to me. So, I got my car "serviced" here. I was told that one of my front headlights was not working and had been replaced. The next time I went to drive at night that particular front-left headlight was not working. Called them up to tell them about it, and was told that it "must be an electrical fault" and to bring it back in. I suspected BS, so I purchased a light and did it myself. Unsurprisingly, the light works fine, they simply did not replace the light like they said that they did (and charged me for). If I had of taken car back in I have a bad feeling they would have claimed electrical fault and ripped me off more money. Then, a while later, my car beeps at me and in the console a message comes up telling me to get the oil serviced, and now does this every time I start the car (I have only driven a few hundred kms since getting serviced). So, I can only assume that the oil was not changed, or at least not done properly (maybe just topped up). Now I'm going to have to take the car elsewhere to get the oil changed = most expensive oil change I have ever had :( As someone whom has just bought a house in the area, they might have had my business for years however I definitely won't be trusting my car to them again. Also, a tall dark haired fellow at the counter tried to sell me some BS story about needing to get some pollen catcher thing installed at the time when I picked my car up (sounded more like a car salesman instead of mechanic). So, in short, nightmare experience!
