Answer the bloody phone!!!
Highly unprofessional and extremely inconvenient when wanting to confirm if a parcel is there awaiting collection, or if they have a product in stock. Have had numerous issues with their lack of customer service and cancelled my PO Box.

North Carlton Post Office staff are very good and very helpful and are always smiling and polite. To the person that complained here about only being opened 9-5 on working days that is not true. They are opened on Saturdays as well till 12 pm which is what I find great about them! Not many post offices are. Also the people that do deliveries are contractors for Australia Post. They are NOT staff of the North Carlton Post Office. They will not leave things on doorsteps if the parcel requires a signature or they don't feel it is safe to do so. Sometimes it pays to do a little homework before posting negative comments.

No matter what, service is always 100% here. I just had the wonderful experience (again) where they have followed up on a previous enquiry that I made and have all the answers - they even brought it up with me! The staff at Carlton North post office are 10/10.

This is my local post office. Both of the staff who usually help me are friendly, helpful and patient. Not an easy feat when they are so busy all of the time.

Of all of the post offices I've been to in the northern suburbs, this is my favourite. The couple that run the counter are extremely helpful & always do a great job of walking me through potentially complex international postage scenarios, often pointing out less expensive options that I've missed. Very happy with the service there.
