Everything was WOW WOW
Best accommodation in Port Stephens.
All staff very friendly from general manager right down to cleaners.
Extremely clean.
Buffet breakfast had a huge variety to satisfy all taste buds.
Great location.

Paid $1,650 for 2 nights accommodation for a romantic getaway. Hotel incorrectly charged me $50 for minibar consumables after checkout. Rang up to clarify items were not taken (or present at the time of check-in). Staff insinuated that i was lying, would investigate and revert to me. Never heard from them. Complete joke and insult.
Housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired. Left the room at 6am, arrived back at 12:30pm, room was not done. No assistance offered in respect of carrying luggage to room on check-in. Do yourself a favour a select a nearby resort for half the price.

In the middle of a 4 night stay here for a second baby moon, and very impressed. Kid free. Excellent +++ service at all levels and across the facility. Felt very warm welcome from the get go at check in and very attentive service at breakfast and poolside. Especially with complimentary snacks offered by staff at the pool side. It’s a small detail but makes a huge difference - cootos to the manager for green lighting this. The buffet breakfast was great, self service fresh juice facility and champagne free flowing. Hot options great and omelette and egg service on point. We stayed in a loft room which had nice split space. The room furnishings feel slightly older, but very clean, good quality and range of complimentary bathroom products and TV and wifi all good quality. Would come again, including with kids next time. There is a nice park right next door and small very quiet and relaxed beach also right next door.

Beautiful accommodation to relax and enjoy some downtime for a romantic getaway. Staff very attentive and pleasant. Close to shops if needed. Gym and spa amenities available. We thoroughly enjoyed the food! Definitely recommend.

A wonderful location and brilliantly, friendly staff. My wife and I had a night away, enjoying a beautiful room on the ground floor, looking out onto the marina.
We felt immediately welcomed as we were give sparkling wine on arrival. The ambiance was lovely, and the rooms in the bar area decorated in a maritime theme.
Our room was lovely, very spacious and the bathroom was a real hit. I'd never seen a smart mirror before, but it allowed me to play a prank on my wife while she was in the shower, blasting the introduction to James Brown's I Got You (I Feel Good) and making her jump out of her skin.
We had dinner in the restaurant and it was lovely. Like this entire place, it is expensive, but very nice.
Breakfast was great, with mimosa and coffee offered to all people.
I think we will go again. It's a luxury hotel, so it's not cheap, but as a treat it was fun.response / report this review -

Great place for ocean scenery. Restraunt service is not good.But the staffs are horrible.Charged me 100 extra for the room keys as deposit and said would be return to my card in ten days. i paid by cash and didnt asked for receipt, then the money is never back. When i tried to place a review on Booking, then always problem.

Went to Spa Lucca at Anchorage for a couples massage. The service was fantastic, the staff were professional and welcoming, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Fantastic value for money, worth every cent! We will definitely be coming back next time we are in Port Stephens!!

Great location and excellent food for any kind of event or overnight stay. The view is spectacular and the foreshore is awesome to walk around. Certainly can't wait until the pool is finished and will definitely recommend the Anchorage to any business or family looking to get away and experience Port Stephens.

We went to The Anchorage for a girl`s afternoon out. We had the most amazing high tea. The setting was very pretty and we were served so much food we packed some for later :). We enjoyed a glass of sparkling wine， an abundance of food and pots of specialty tea. All seven of us can highly recommend an afternoon at The Anchorage.

It's prime location along the water's edge leaves you speechless at the marvelous views when waking up in the morning. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was exceptional and the presence of a Chef to make your OWN omlette is delightful. The rooms are quite modern and are fitted with the latest TV's as well as safes. The general crowd here are also humble and the various activities just near Anchorage itself such as biking, kayaking etc, make staying here an enjoyable experience. Definitely will visit again !
