Customer service extremely poor. I asked a young man to show me the in's and outs of a backpack i wanted to purchase and if he could recommend another brand/size. He was vague and literally just opened the bag and said 'this is how to zip it open and close it' He clearly lacked product knowledge and customer service skills, you could at least pretend you want to be at work instead of being blunt and unhelpful for customers. I ended up having to google brands and watch youtube videos in the store as nobody else was willing to help. It is a shame when you are not very experienced with buying products like this and the people who work at the place seem to be clueless to..

I have been a regular at this store since it first opened and i must say that it used to be a hit and miss affair in terms of staff service.
However, i have been in the store on three seperate occasions over the last three weeks and i was blown away with the change in the attitude of the young staff members. Very pleasant and keen to help.
I was very impressed with the new store manager who really knows his stuff and i would gladly recommend this Anaconda store to anyone.

Reasonable range of camping/outdoor products. Customer service very good. Can find cheaper products elsewhere.

Reasonable range. Seems to be a lot of part time staff with not much idea. The Denali house brand seems to be good quality. My issue with Anaconda in general is that the sales are overhyped and not fully genuine. For instance a sale "60% of ALL backpacks" may be limited in fine print to one or two overpriced selections.

I wouldnt shop here again
Bought a 95lt waeco under a month ago over $1500 worth of fridge its died and they have said they cant replace it
Yet waeco have said that they should replace it then give it to them to sort out so im not with out a fridge
They have them sitting in store yet arnt intersted in helping..

Ill be shopping at bcf from now on..

Thanks anaconda for not helping as you're supposed to

The store is big with plenty of stock. But wow customer service was incredibly poor today. The staff members were all miserable 😭. Could not crack a smile let a lone be helpful with product knowledge. If I was the owner of this store I would try and improve staff morale and do some serious training on customer service.

I must say .after using anaconda cannington for all my camping and cycling needs for nearly 2 yearsafter today I will never use them again ..the shortage of staff was absolutely appallingthen when I finally did get assistance it was absolutely horrendous the staff member I spoke with was very short and rude and didn't care at all about my questions..not impressedif it was one my staff they would be sacked on the spot .to anaconda cannington GFYS
