Booked a couples massage package with my wife. Included a 30min chocolate body scrub followed by a 60min relaxation massage.
Both treatments were excellent, really couldn't fault it. The scrub left our skin feeling so good and the massage itself was perfect, the right amount of pressure and very relaxing. The therapists here know exactly what they are doing.
Some of th negative reviews here are quite unwarranted, I almost cancelled my booking due to it but glad we went ahead with it. Yes the spa itself is adjacent to the gym, however, once you get into the spa itself you cannot hear a thing from the gym.
THIS IS NOT A SPA. IT'S A COUPLE OF TREATMENT ROOMS ATTACHED TO A FITNESS FIRST. THE CHANGE ROOMS, SHOWER AND POOL ARE ALL HUGELY BUSY WITH GYM CLIENTELE.
Took my daughter here for her first spa experience. Given the title, I assumed we were going to a spa. THIS IS NOT A SPA. You pay spa prices though. Hugely misleading. Hugely disappointing. Absolutely NOT recommended. Do not go.
I had a bad day last week and my body wasn't really feeling energetic. I went to Alysium for a massage as it's near my office. Glad I did, it was such a relaxing experience, just what I needed. My backaches were gone and I slept so well at night. I'll definitely go back, I assume all their staff are all so well-trained.
The Spa is lovely. I’d recommend this only.
The hotel is awful, the couples package included high tea and discounted parking; Misleading advertising with extremely poor customer service from mediocre tea in the lobby through thoroughfare with making us run around for a parking voucher.
My husband and I are Diamond Members, they’ve just lost our membership.
When you're expected a luxurious massage and a sauna/steamroom/swimmingpool at a place that's affiliated with the Hilton, unfortunately this is not what you're getting.
Me and my partner booked a couples massage and came a few hours beforehand to enjoy the facilities.
We discovered that there is no spa - there is just a Fitness First What the website describes, is not really honest in our opinion.
It would be so much better for everyone if people could just advertise what it is that you're getting prior to getting disappointed.
