This place is amazing. We had the breaky burger, house made banana and hazelnut bread, and fried chicken burger here and all were very good. If you stay at the Guichen Bay Motel next door, you will receive a voucher for a free beverage for every $10 you spend. We got the Nutella hazelnut hot chocolate (SO GOOD), breakfast blend tea, and house made mint apple mango rose iced tea—all of which were great! The waitress from our first breakfast remembered us. Service is wonderful!
Shocking service, poor staff that are more interested in an argument than good service. If google offered a negative rating I would give it.
Incredible! Went twice for breakfast in my two day stay. The Nutella hot chocolate is a must!
Food was awesome. Very busy but didn't wait long considering. Service was brilliant. Little table outside for the kids to sit at and colour in. Great drinks list priced very reasonably.
Good food well presented and freindly helpful staff.
We visited Robe for the week from Adelaide. We came to the Adventurous Spoon and have never had such amazing service! Every staff member was so lovely and the food was great. Very child friendly. Couldn't recommend it more 😊.
I gave these guys 5 stars because I love chefs that make food look good. They spend time on presentation and the food taste great. Coffee good as well.
Hands down best coffee in SA! Everything is executed to perfection here! Have not had a bad meal yet! We only eat breakfast here when in Robe because its that addictive! Top notch establishment!
Despite what other reviews stated, staff were unavailable to greet us, necessitating that we find our own table, which was given a cursory rub down by staff, requiring my partner to request a cloth to finish the job as it was filthy. Table service is absent and I queued for 20 minutes to place and order. Luckily, the coffee was reasonable, however, it took 40 minutes for the food to arrive, which was, to be frank, mediocre. If we hadn't already paid, we would have walked out long before the food arrived, with our hunger the only factor that made the food palatable.
To be fair, it did appear busy, as, with New Year 2 days away, the town is packed. Still, that surely it is a test of a cafe's mettle, how they handle the busy times.
