I booked in for a roadworthy and was told it would fail on the basis on the year of manufacture on my vehicle Before even seeing the vehicle.

This mechanic still has not seen my vehicle, nor will he ever see any of my vehicles. I canceled my roadworthy inspection and organized for another mechanic to do the inspection. I had no issues with passing the inspection.

Such a sad indictment on cairns that such a mechanic has been in business for 25 years.

Response.

. I told you that the key is difficult, which as per the department of transport in Queensland is not part of the safety I section and should not have warranted a fail in any case. I informed you out of curtisy nothing more.

So far as I am concerned you are rewriting your own rules regarding inspection to take a financial gain from people And I will inform as many people as I can find regarding your business practices, I make no apologies for this.

I only wish I would have read your reviews in Google prior to making an appointment and wasting my time, I know note you have a history of this type of behavior already.

I also note your comment regarding 30 years history, maybe something akin to the year of manufacture of a car. might be time to go yourself maybe.

Moreover, you yourself actually said that given the year of manufacture and being a 4x4 it would not pass.

The Worst mechanics in Cairns. Tried to rip me off several times. Brought my car vehicle there, asked me to do some repairs in other mechanics shops. Once done, told me that the repairs were not good and he could not do anything about it. He also said that I was wasting his previous time. Do not go there !

I really recommend aardvark auto's ! They helped us so fast without an appointment. The crew was so kind and they all do a very good job ! We're so thankful and now we don't have to worry about our car when we gonna go to alice Springs :)

I can highly recommend this garage. Very good service! They fixed the car and did the roadworthy very quick and for a good price . They did a very good job and everybody at the team is totally kind ! Best mechanic in Cairns !

Absolutely fantastic, great customer service and have done a great job. Given me list on what to fix as most other places would just fix it without telling you which then costs you a arm and leg haha. Thank you for today. I will be telling everyone how great Aardvark is.
