Horrible people. Avoid at all costs. My 80 year old mother needed an outside door umbrella to be placed in, a person came from A1, took measurements, we needed to add something for the umbrella to be more secure when it's placed in and he'd be back once that's done, we do that, we let them know, few weeks later another person from A1 comes, mum also wanted two blind tracks changed, simple thing, that person was like oh easy that's just 50 dollars for each one, goes outside to quote us the job for the umbrella that will now be placed in, tells us it just can't be done. Still won't be secure enough. Other person said it was fine. I had sent him pictures and he was like fantastic. Anyway, no worries about the umbrella, let's fix these blind tracks then. He goes it will now cost my mum 330 because mum isn't buying a product with them. And that's 330 "WITH" a seniors discount. How much does the senior discount on the quote say? 17 dollars. 17 DOLLARS. And from an honest job for an 80 year old woman being 100, it became 330. Disgraceful!!!!!! I know what my next topic on my podcast for millions to hear will be. Either come and do an honest job for mum for 100 or don't. Up to you. I know what I'm doing. These people are sharks. Keep your mothers and grandmothers away from them. If they do right by mum, this review will be removed. Otherwise, spreading awareness on this company is just as fine with me. There are plenty of other companies that will charge mum next to nothing for this. It's about principle and ethics. It's about not royally screwing customers. Especially the very old ones. Absolutely deplorable.

I chose A1 Blinds based on their Google reviews, and I'm very happy to say they deserve their excellent rating.

The roller blinds (both single and dual) are exactly what I wanted. The workmanship, communication, and general due care and diligence from the measure and quote, to fitting a few weeks later was all spot on.

No hesitation therefore in recommending A1 Blinds. They care about their customers and it shows.

A1 Blinds were recommended to us by a family relative. We were looking for beautiful outdoor motorised awnings as our windows are quite high and get a lot of sun. We contacted A1 and they arranged a free measure and quote. We met Dale and instantly we knew we were in good hands. After the measure he provided us with materials, colour options, hood colours, edge finishing, motorisation, and an optional automated solution to use via an app. They also provide an electrician to connect the motorisation which we couldn’t find with any other curtains/blinds company. The turnaround time from order to installation was less than 4 weeks. We could not get this timeframe anywhere else and believe me I went to 6 different curtains/blinds businesses. The customer service experience, product material & knowledge, installation crew…you can tell they’ve been around for decades and it shows. Just a trust worthy business that’ll look after you and make your home beautiful. Thanks a million cheers

We had six outdoor sun blind’s recently installed and it was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Cameron was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful when measuring and quoting. Bianca kept us updated on progress throughout and the two gents who did the installation did a wonderful job. We are very happy with the result and highly recommend this company.

2022:
I am adding this review to the last one I wrote with regard to the A1 Blinds installed last year (see below). This time we needed 20 double blinds installed of varying sizes. I have to say, I LOVE this company! Once again, Claude came and quoted for us - it was like welcoming an old friend into the house. Not only does he have a friendly, engaging personality, but he is also highly competent and super efficient. And to me that really is an example of every person with whom we have dealt with at A1 Blinds - friendly, understanding, extremely efficient and highly competent. So, thank you to the lovely ladies on Reception (I'm sorry I can't remember your names), to Claude, and to three wonderful young men who were involved with the fitting of our blinds - their standards were high, they were all extremely efficient, and each of them was polite and very friendly Thanks so much, Darren, Nathan, and Travis. The blinds themselves?They are all perfect! Congratulations to A1 Blinds - a company that cares for the client but also cares for their own staff!
2021:
We are extremely happy with A1 Blinds who genuinely care for their customers. Our blinds were ordered in between lockdowns and the company remained in touch during those times to keep us up to date, with the completed articles being installed a couple of days after the restrictions changed enabling them doing so. Claude was a very nice, and efficient , when he measured up; and the installer was great - very happy, very efficient and competent and we were thrilled with his work. Thanks A1 - great service!
