Delectable mains, we went for dinner at Sunday night, There was a lady named Eli who served us very kindly and friendly. we ordered koobideh and Vaziri, Barley Soup which is the best soup I ever had in Sydney
The most solid Iranian restaurant I've been to in Sydney so far.
The appetizer was kashk o bademjun. Char grilled egg plants, mashed and topped with fried garlic, onion and mint as well as kashk (a yogurt byproduct with a distinct sour taste). We also got a complimentary serving of barley soup each which was very nice of them.
We had the special platter. It's a combination of skewers; koobideh (the minced lamb skewer), joojeh (pieces of chicken marinated with saffron and lemon on the skewer) and barg (lamb back strap marinated with saffron and onion on the skewer) served with sides and rice. Everything was done just right. The koobideh was bouncy, the barg was tender and all skewers were juicy.
The service was great and the overall ambience was nice. Totally recommended. We'll be back for more for sure.
I love Persian food and the standard here did not disappoint. Persian restaurants are never cheap but the food quality is always great. The pricing was comparable to what we normally pay for Persian restaurant food.
We had Koobide kebab, it was very nice and juicy. the portion was quite big.
they were very respectful, definitely recommend.
Delicious authentic persian food, definitely the taste of Tehran. Excellent portion sizes, fresh and very good quality.
Great service and lovely ambience.
Definitely will be back and highly recommend.
