By far the best pizza restaurant I have been to. The food is to die for, especially the arancini, calamari and Ronny J pizza. I love the vibe of the place - casual, funky and cozy! The staff are amazing and a special shout out to the head waitress’s Rose. She always ensures our experience is 10/10. I come here at least 2-3 times a month.

Simply amazing the pizza was the best! we got the carbonara pizza and it was one of the best pizzas, the drinks were good with few tap beers and the service was fast and friendly

They started by saying I had a booking to sit outside and when I got there, I was offered a table inside. In addition they don't do half-flavour pizzas; it must be hard to cook. Positive points: excellent pizza though and fantastic apple crumble.

Food great but restaurant really cold as waitresses insisted on the door being open to let smoke out. Ruined the night. Had to go home to warm up. Won't come back in winter.

I actually think this comes on par with many of Melbournes best wood fire pizzas! Dare I say it one of the best. We come here at least once every few a month, always consistent top quality pizzas. Love the Ronny J and the Prosciutto Pizzas. Also a recent addition is local beer on tap. Tops!

Thanks to Stevo and the crew at Boy Named Sue for the delicious pizza and coffee supply to support our local Movember event - brekky pizzas fueled the team and helped us achieve 8,848 vertical metres of climbing by bicycle. The Hawthorn Cycle Club and our mates have been coming to Boy Named Sue every Sunday morning for years now. Why? because the coffee and food is consistently excellent. Keep it up guys!
