I really cannot afford to dine like this on a regular basis however, my lord, it was worth it! Exceptional service, food, beverages, atmosphere. Truly a beautiful experience for me and my daughter on a girls weekend in Melbourne.

First time at The Press Club and I was blown away. I admit, I was expecting "old school" fine dining. You know where everything is so perfect you feel uncomfortable and nothing is really new? Not here. This was a totally new experience in fine dining. Welcoming, warm, playful. The service was wonderful, the food a delight and the atmosphere was so beautiful—that ceiling, wow! My partner and I would come back here in a heartbeat. Couldn't recommend it enough. If you can splurge, go the 8 courses, totally worth it!

Before going to Press Club i read the reviews and was concerned that the food would be overrated..really expensive..etc
    It was FAR FROM overrated.

The people that claim it wasn't worth it obviously did not appreciate the experience, because that is what it was. It was a food journey. I won't go through and explain the quirkiness of each dish because it will ruin it for you. The staff do explain the origin of the dishes, how they were cooked (most dishes have 2 parts) and the presentation is unbelievable. We were even taken down to the kitchen to meet the chef who was lovely and welcoming.

Regardless of all the above, the food tasted delicious. The combination of flavours were divine. We could never really justify paying $150-$200 per head, but i can guarantee you that we walked out and admitted it was worth eeeeeevery penny.

P.S- Check out the Tavli Board with the bill..the pieces are edible!!

Serene environment, warm and cosy. Very friendly and highly trained staff. Delicious food at a very reasonable price. Only negative for me was price of wine, otherwise I would have stayed on and drank and ate more. Will definitely return. Absolutely lovely waitress who was Austrian/Singaporean/Polish.

Had my birthday lunch here with my pregnant wife. When we arrived, we were greeted with a kind letter and everyone who came in contact with us knew of our dietary requirements with my wife being pregnant. The service was amazing and the food was just as good. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience fine Greek food.

This was the first and last time going to a fine dining restaurant.
We booked in for a 6 course meal, expecting to pay $90 per person, as said on the website.
When we got there, the waitress convinced us to get the 8 course meal, with no mention that the price waa going to increase and it sounded like we were doing them a favour by getting the 8 course rather than the 6.
The food was a bit disappointing to be honest, especially the dessert. Out of all the greek food we could have been served, we were served some flavourless chocolate cubes and ice cream that didnt even taste of anything.
When we went to leave, after we had finished dessert, the waitress convinced us to stay for another dish (we were there for a birthday so we got another dish).
We were gobsmacked at $420 bill and felt that we were conned into spending more money and almost bullied to stay there longer than we wanted to.
Highly recommend not to go there and certainly will never return.

The Press Club was an all round wonderful experience. The food was both visually pleasing and absolutely delicious. And the staff were all so very friendly, warm and full of funny stories.

For a unique and truly special dining experience The Press Club cannot be beaten. The food was devine, the whole atmosphere amazing, cocktails so unique that paired with the food perfectly and every single staff member was a credit to their employer and the establishment. I adored this restaurant and would recommend it to any foodie.

We were delightfully surprised at the care, quality and entertainment of this meal and the accompanying wines. Clearly it is costly, but the complete dining experience was relaxed, amusing and convivial. I have been to other degustation experiences which were pressured and focussed on the cleverness of the chefs. Press Club and Attica are similar to each other in channelling a classy diner-focussed vibe.
