Absolutely lovely place! Very friendly staff and helpful with their recommendations on what to try. I had a very good custard, vanilla based dessert which was light and not too sweet (which is what I look for in a dessert) - loved it, best dessert I have tried in Austria so far - and a good latte at the right temperature. My husband also liked his chocolate dessert and coffee and the decor is so pretty, all white with touches of pink and purple. Would highly recommend and easily accessible in the center on a side street off the popular Getreidegasse cobbled street.

Regarding that this is one of the oldest and most popular pastry shops in Salzburg we were quite disappointed of our visit today. There was a hair in the almond croissant and the rest was nothing special.

Very nice coffee house with home made cakes. Traditional interior and very cosy. It's worth waiting for a seat.

One of the old, traditional and hidden pearls of my hometown, Schatz is worth a visit. If you are craving some fresh ice cream, try their strawberry sort. Otherwise do as the locals do: Get a coffee and pick a cake, sit down and relax.

Excellent almond croissants (they're cinnamon-y, crunchy, and delicious). A local favorite, a little tough to find, and very little seating; but great stuff!
