Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The location is convenient, between the central station and the center by the river. The rooms are a little tight, but this is quite normal for Europe. Lots of cafes and restaurants closeby and a great little Farmer's market on Thursday!

We had a very comfortable room, and the individuals at the front desk were terrific! We had problems with the wifi the first night, but they fixed it the next day. The location is good Just two or three blocks from the meeting place for many tours, including the Eagle's Nest, Sounds of Music, etc. It is a longer hike to Old City, but not very far at all. We were able to purchase tickets for our tour from the hotel, but we would have saved 10 euros each if we had booked it ourselves. We were Incorrect in assuming that we would get the pre booking price through the hotel. The beds were super comfortable, even if they were two separate twin beds pushed together. The shower pressure was fantastic. I would recommend using a site like booking.com to get a good price on the rooms.

We arrived late on a Sunday when many shops were closed. Intuitively, reception shared suggestions on good, open restaurants. In addition, reception genuinely cared about our comfort, stay and that we enjoyed the city. Overnight street parking is easy, but I should have inquired about car parks during the day since I am illiterate to the street signs.

I wish we spent more than two nights here. The continental breakfast is good for a quick bite before running out to a tour. Obviously we went on the Sound of Music tour and this hotel is positioned perfectly for that. I had time for the full breakfast before my drive to Graz the next morning. It was comprehensive, fresh and delicious.

I think there is a terrace but unfortunately our stay was too short to lounge at the hotel. We stayed in the economy room which was more than sufficient. Plenty of storage spaces in the room. Most impressive for me was the authentic furniture pieces which were both functional added to the beauty and awe of our stay in Salzburg.

Very old and nice hotel. Super friendly service. Very close to bus stop that leads pretty much anywhere in the city.

Our room was small compared to some others, but we had everything we needed, except maybe AC, but we asked for a fan and they delivered fast. We had the choice between bath or shower, because showers are quite small. Breakfast there is quite expensive though, but there are plenty of cafés around.

We had a pleasant stay, I recommend.
