Good central location. Traditional decor but that worked in a traditional building. Very friendly staff. A most enjoyable stay. We didn't go for the breakfast so cannot come t on that.

Located at a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle but yet close to all the major attractions in Vienna. The morning breakfast is quite a spread with cold cuts, fruit, breads, eggs, cornflakes and lots more. They also had Chennai tea which always brought a smile to us. The reception staff all knew English and were always willing to help be it with booking tours, giving us direction for sightseeing. Thanks for making our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. Hotel Mercure will always be a part of our memories of our trip to Vienna.

Well, we acn't give 5 stars because we did not stay. Our experience, sadly, was that we forgot to cancel our hoped-for stay at this apparently wonderful establishment. There is no doubt they were well bang within their rights to keep the first night's charge. We had booked 2 roomsand thought that would be that, but on appeal the very kind reservations people did refund some of our charges. Well done and thank you again Annika.

Location is nearby Rathaus U Bahn (purple line). Close by to city centre and just a few stops away from all major tourist attractions. Very clean room. Friendly service. Room is not too big but enough for 2 people.

However, I do wish they could provide iron for us to borrow in our room. Instead of that, they provide one designated room at the ground floor for ironing. Which is quite inconvenient to be honest. I would also love it more if kettle could be provided for every room.

Nice sized and clean rooms. Staff have mostly been friendly. Easy to walk to a lot of the sights around Vienna, including Rathaus, St Michael's and museums.

Convient location not far from local transport and the museum district and parliament a short walk away. Great service at the hotel and received a upgrade whilst we where there to one of the the deluxe suites, very nice room with a veranda and kitchenette also a sofa to relax on after a long day exploring the marvellous city ! Would defiantly go back and use Mercure again.
One place I would recommend going whilst in Vienna is Schonbrunn palace, it is absoultly stunning and the gardens are beautiful. I recommend buying at least the Classic pass for the best day out.

Staff is very courteous and speaks different languages. Very confortable and clean hotel. The breakfast buffet is amazing with a lot of options even for vegetarians. Well located: next to a metro station (Rathaus), great bars and restaurants and a walking distance (10min) from the Museum Quartier. The price is a bit expensive, although it is reflected fairly in the amenities.
