Excellent as always. Unique, authentic. The best kidneys, liver, sweetbreads and Beuschl

Now this is as old school Viennese as it gets! Like stepping into a time machine that leads you directly into a working class pub at the dawn of the 19th century. There even are some meals left that have vanished from Viennese menus decades ago like the Austrian answer to Haggis ("Beuschel") or sheep-brain with eggs (no typo).

Nice place to have authentic traditional Austrian dishes. Not tourist oriented.

A small restaurant in a less touristy location in Vienna. They serve some seasonal dishes and some old Austrian classics that you are not easily find in other restaurants. The restaurant itself feels like from an other time, it's very authentic and nice. Service was great and the dishes were really amazing. We had the liver and the Beuschl (which is a sort of Austrian stew of giblets) both were really great. I certainly can recommend this place if you want to try some authentic Austrian dishes.

A really delightful experience (despite the smokers). Our only complaint was the portion were much too much- enough for two persons. Excellent soups.Superb choice of main dishes-V. Schnitzel, of course
and liver. Sumptuous sweet. All at a very fair price with the company of the owner on hand to advise on your choice in impeccable English..

hopefully before long Europeans will prohibit smoking in public restaurants. Smoking is not only bad for everyone's health but it is a filthy habit which spoils the taste of good food.
