  Great location, the family that runs it is great. The train car we stayed in was super cool. We stayed here one night as a hotel and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It's a quiet family run establishment, as long as you don't have your head up your ass about what to expect you will love it.

  One of the best places i have stayed at. The place is ran by a very friendly couple and it offers a unique way of spending your nights in a very quiet and peaceful place. Good breakfeast available and good connections to the close by towns. This place is a perfect fit for anyone who wish to stay in somewhere else than just a normal hotel room.

  Same as many reviews, the staff (older ponytailed owner) and very steep prices (with over complex billing) really spoil this place. You're not made welcome in any way. There's a strong air of under-investment and everything being utterly amateurish being fixed with sticky backed plastic just to get by. Great location by a beautiful lake tho..

  It is the nicest camping that I know in the whole country. The atmosphere they have, every detail, the location but they´ve gone a bit crazy with the prices 37€for 2 people with a small tent and you have to pay extra for the shower!!! The service is extremely nice buf but too slow (only 1 person in high season, taking all the time in the world for each client)
  We have been there several times and we may come back because we love it but they could improve some things!

  Beautiful place but..Behaviour of the staff simply ruins the whole stay. We wanted to stay for three nights but after first night we went to another camp. Overpriced and everything is a problem. You have nowhere to cook your food even though you have your own stove. Not enough shower and toilets. When you want to take a shower you need to pay for it at the reception where they open at 9 am. When you need to get out earlier you have wait or swim in a lake. When you want to pay it takes ages.
  And way overpriced!

  Really cute little campsite. Not too busy considering hallstatt is nearby. The reception building is lovely, bathrooms clean and nice (50cents for 6minutes hot water), plug sockets in the bathrooms. Lawn was soft for pitching a tent and you are right next to the lake and can go for a dip if it's nice. Places to eat under cover as well and staff friendly.

  Stayed here one night for our trip to Hallstatt, we'd recommend anyone to stay here. We stayed in the tree house, it was cozy and a fun adventure.
  
  Pros: One of the most unique lodging experiences, a must stay location. Customer service was great, couldn't be any more kind; The daughter of the owner gave us a ride into town, the owner took time to explain the art and design of their 'rooms'. We would recommend all to stay here for their Hallstat visit! Not far from the second lake train station. (15 min).
  
  Cons: The distance from city, Expect a 40 min walk to city center. Must pay for showers. Restaurants are a good 30 min walk.

  As others have said its a attractively placed campsite on the lake but whilst we didn't find the management outright rude they just aren't particularly welcoming and seem to slightly resent the fact that people camp there. There is a nice cafe but you have to pay for a drink to sit there and use the wifi. Also a little on the squelchy side if it rains a lot but that is possibly inevitable with the lakeside location

  It is a nice and beautiful camp ground. We did not have problem with the owner or staff. They were nice, soft spoken, and courteous. The only problem we had was with the price. We have a small van and were told to park in the muddy back side with no lake view. It came out 48 euros per day including electricity! Maybe we would have been ok if we had the Lake view We did not pay this kind of price even in Switzerland!

  + Very beautiful camping site. Nice reception, Facilities are in good condition. Tent spots are very close to the lake, we even see fireworks beside lake in the evening.
  - The parking is a nightmare, sleep with noise due to close to road. We had 2 nasty neighbors from CZ, drunk, spoke loudly and play rock music in their tent after 23:00, all neighbors are annoyed by them!
  
  Above all, we are happy about the stay, this could be an excellent camping site without nasty people and enlarge a little the parking space.
