I called for reservation, they confirmed it. But after i came to camping they told me that they don't have free spots. So in my opinion 1/5

We weren't happy at all while staying here with our tent. Firstly, place designated for the tents is ~10 meters from VERY busy road, so you can expect hearing both small cars and trucks all the time (with possible break between 10PM - 6AM, but I'm not sure about that).
"Common room" is basically empty room with very dirty table set for 5 people and two electric sockets for the whole camp.
Despite the outstanding view of Traunsee and the mountains, I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you have a mobile like most of the visitors.response / report this review -

Staying with a tent. Good place to stay overnight after hiking etc. Would not recommend longer stays if trafic noise bother you. Receptionists friendly.

Nice little campsite on the shore of picturesque Lake Traunsee. Shower and toilets were clean and in good working order. The manager was friendly and very helpful. Why 3 stars then? The noise! The tent area is right next to the busy main road, with traffic through the night. We were not used to this and looked and felt like zombies after two nights. The caravan area is a bit (not much) further away from the road. Unfortunately I can only recommend this campsite if you are either caravaning, a good sleeper, or don't mind earplugs (preferably all three).

Absolutely perfect campaign. At the lake and from the camping you can easily reach it. The view is stunning from basically everywhere in the camping. The receptionist is really helpful and assist you greatly with you request. There good restaurants in the vicinity.

Great little site. Friendly staff. Good pitches and shower blocks. We will be back. Gmunden is a lovely town not too far to walk. We swam in the lake too. Give this a try if planning a journey.
