The only real mountain shop with people that know what they are selling.
Bit pricey, but worth the money. Staff is extremely professional and helpful, both in English and German. They answer all questions and equip you with ton of information. They even have a small climbing wall in their shop so you can try the shoes.
Best mountain and trekking shop in town always helpful always friendly. Firm in German and English. Not the cheapest but always worth the extra.
One of THE places to go when you want to buy professional hiking or outdoor stuff. All of the staff use these kind of product they sell by them self. Thy have experience and know what they are talking about. They are not professional salesmen, so it can happen that they just say I don't know about that product I haven't uswd it yet, but wait a second my colleague did and he will fetch him. They are friendly honest (top quality most often is expensive) but not slimy nice.
Best climbing shop in Vienna, good prices and service
Awesome service and great selection of hiking gear. Expensive but totally worth it.
Bought my new hiking boots here- the shop assistant spoke English and patiently explained to me what I needed from my first ever pair of hiking boots. Recommended for anything related to mountain sports!
Amazing selection of serious cam ping supplies but a bit pricey.

Great service, skillful and helpful staff! Excellent choice of climbing products!
Very good stock. Sometimes they advise very well but some of the people were not that competent so I have mixed feelings about the store.
I have a problem. I buy too much camping/climbing/hiking stuff. Fortunately, Bergfuchs is always there to quench my thirst for new gear. I am particular vulnerable to Arcteryx products which here you will find plenty. I have bought hiking shoes, snow shoes, jackets, shirts, socks, pants, backpacks, carabiners, gloves and on and on. And to be honest I will continue doing it because the shop is great. A bit on the pricey side, and staff could be a tad less snobbish to those of us that don't look like professional rock climbers, but all in all a good place.
