Probably the most notorious expat bar in Buenos Aires. Not for fights; quite the opposite. You walk in straight, you walk out sideways. Oh, and girls drink free until 10 or midnightcan't remember because your memories stay trapped inside.

"A 2006 smoking ban in Buenos Aires city prohibits smoking in public areas including bars and restaurants except if the bar is more than 100 m2 where it is possible to provide an area for smoking customers. Similar bans in other Argentine cities require bigger establishments to provide a separate, contained area for smoking customers."

You FAILED, El Alamo, aka The Mo. You failed bigtime.

I came to you for a slice of home, to watch the Superbowl and I was forced to leave because it was SOOOOOO smoke-filled I could NOT breathe, let alone enjoy myself.

I was told it was illegal to allow smoking in public places in Buenos Aires yet your staff and guests were smoking as if it were a cigar lounge. I am allergic to cigarette smoke and was suffering SO badly I had to stand in the doorway, taking occasional dashes towards the screen to catch some of the game. Your terrace wasn't even open so that a person trying to escape the smoke had a chance to watch the game with some fresh air. You shut off the fan in the interior of the bar and cranked up the air conditioning SO high, food was instantaneously chilled. The volume of the game was incredibly loud.

The only redeeming factor was the friendliness and great service of your staff. They were kind, helpful and had their A-Game on.

I came to your place to enjoy the Superbowl and left a miserable mess because you allowed people to break the law.

Great place to watch NFL games, as they will open early for the NFL games. They also show other sports. The beer and food were just cheap. Only local beers and Corona beers, and typical bar food that was just ok. The staff there was quite friendly, and nice. It is quite loud, and mostly a young crowd. If you are looking to watch sports, this is the place.
