WARNING- CRIMINAL: illegally booked money from my Credit Card! DO NOT Give them Credit card details!
ADVERTENCIA! Criminales: ¡tomaron dinero de mi tarjeta sin permiso y / o firma! no les des la tarjeta de crédito
I hired a car at MDZ car rental for three days. The car was really not in a good condition it had dents all over and the side mirrors did not work. As a guarantee the company wanted my credit card number which I (Naively) gave to them. I drove with the car for approximately 1 hour when I realized the tire was losing air. However, the tire did not burst or anything like that, but it was slowly losing air. As I changed the tile I realized that the valve- which is behind the hub cap was damaged. It is important to note here that this venture is protected by the hub cap and that it was broken cannot be attributed to my driving but is a sign (as I have informed myself by an expert later) of old, low quality tiles or might result from the wrong position of the tile hub. As I returned the car there were two people present- a man and a women from MDZ car rental. When I told them that we had to change the tile the woman told us that we had to repair it which was written in the contract somewhere really small. As we showed them were the tile was broken and that it had not been our fault, the man immediately intervened and confirmed that this was not our fault and that we did not have to pay for the damage. After this we went around the car to check for further damages and the woman realized some damage on the trunk (It is important to note here that the trunk was full of damages) that she claimed had not been here before. They did not believe us and fortunately! My mother had made pictures of the car before we rented it and we could prove that the damage was there before. So they were not able to betray us. 3 DAYS!!! LATER the woman messaged me and sent me a picture of the tile and a picture of a HAND WRITTEN! NUMBER on a piece of paper which she said was the check from the mechanic and that she will book it from my card. I informed her that it is legally not possible to just write a WhatsApp 3 days later to claim money for damage. I had not signed anything to acknowledge the damage and I did not receive any bill. Literally ANYONE could have written this piece of paper. Now I just saw that she really booked 60$ from my card. WITHOUT my Permission! WITHOUT my signature! This is highly illegal - this is theft and I will take legal action.
Conduje con el automóvil y el azulejo perdió aire. Tuve que cambiarlo. No explotó, pero la válvula que está protegida por la tapa del cubo se rompió. Esto no fue mi culpa, es una señal de que el neumático está viejo. Cuando devolvà el auto, el hombre que estaba allà dijo que estaba bien. 3 dÃas después, cuando ya no estaba en Mendoza, la señora de los automóviles MDZ me envió una foto de un "cheque" ESCRITO A MANO y dijo que reservará 60 $ de mi tarjeta. Le dije que era ilegal, pero ella lo reservó sin mi permiso o firma. Cuando devolvimos el automóvil, vieron un daño en el automóvil (el automóvil tenÃa muchas abolladuras) y dijeron que este era nuevo. Afortunadamente, habÃamos tomado fotos y pudimos demostrar que el daño ya estaba hecho. Esto es ilegal y emprenderé acciones legalesresponse / report this review -

Todo muy bien, el auto en buenas condiciones y muy buena onda. Solo para objetar que me lo entregaron con un cuarto de tanque en lugar de tanque lleno, lo que complica para calcular al momento de devolverlo.

From the very beginning, we had a great experience. Making plans from as far away as Colorado seemed like a bit of a risk, but Claudia made it very personal, secure and comfortable. Pablo met us at the airport with a great Peugot 408 (much better vehicle than what was available from the large chains) that ran well for 16 days and got us down the Ruta 40 to El Calafate with no problems. We could not have had a better experience. Pablo met us in El Calafate exactly as planned and dropped us off at the airport. The exchange rate that they used was more than fair. I can't say enough about how appreciative we are for the support and care that we received.

The service was fast and hassle free and Leticia was friendly. The car however was a mid 2000 Ford Ka that should belong in a dumpster . It was dirty, busted on the outside and smelled like a dead rat on the inside . My old scooter had more horsepower than this car. And not to mention the car being pricier than a comparable newer safer vehicle at hertz or avis by 20% . I felt cheated
