It really blends with the character of the city. I loved the rooms, furnished with wooden floors and marble bathrooms. Breakfast buffet was decent. I wish they improve on overall service, check-in and check-out takes longer time.

Facility is nice but a little old. Location is very Convenient, close to most attractions and shopping. The 3-star is for service. Not very friendly staff. One friend of us got robbed near the hotel. The staff told him to contact police himself. Another incident occurred when my wife tried to find the restroom on the top pool area. She was told none by the attendant but we found later they are one floor below by a nearby stair. These incidents made us, a group of 26 people, feel not welcomed here!

Older building in a great downtown location right at the obelisk and accross the colon theatre. My room was facing the busy street on the 21st floor and was slightly noisy due to a broken window latch. However service was amazing as I had lost my credit cards and passports and they were very patient in helping me check in. Everyone speaks great English. Great views from the pool on the 23rd floor with a nice sauna. Front desk is beyond helpful in booking any tours and whatever you need. Had a Reservation to a great steak restaurant in Palermo called Lo de Jesus and hotel arranged a champagne for our group. Amazing.

Perfect location to explore Buenos Aires! You are greeted with the scent of fresh roses as you walk through the door and the staff is amazing, so kind and helpful. They cater to your every whim. The only negative I have is that the hotel could use some repairs. In my room the wallpaper was peeling, the door to the deck would hardly close (it was bent and dinged like someone took a pry bar to it), the hot water in the tub was missing a piece and these were just a few of the issues with my room. Many more issues like these throughout the hotel, though they did not effect my stay. The breakfast service was wonderful, great selections and they served late. Lunch and dinner at the hotel was perfect, great food. I am sure the hotel was stunning in its day. I gave 5 stars because the overall experience was more than I could ask for!!

Very nice room, comfy bed, great breakfast, if you choose that option. The pool is lovely and the 360 degree view of Buenos Aires spectacular. Close to transportation. We had a wonderful stay.

Great hotel in a good location. There's a really cool pool on the top floor/rooftop. The gym/treadmills overlook the pool and you have a great view out of the city. There's a free breakfast as well which is pretty good, but nothing special.

This was a good hotel 30 years ago but is now slowly falling apart. It definitely lives off its reputation. The view from the 23rd floor is stunning, though.

The rooms are clean and the decor is very classic. The staff are all very professional and speak English.
I docked one star because the bathroom fan is very loud.

I am not judging the hotel itself. I just was disappointed that I could not visit the famos viewpoint for a few minutes after asking politely. As a german tango dancer and lover of BA they could be more flexible. I understand the rules "for guests only" but I had a flat in BA and not to show me anything will never make me a guest there, sorry.
