Nice beach but rough waves

We took our books to Turners Beach for the day, but we only read a few pages. We were too mesmerized by our temporary tropical world. The brilliant sun, a slight breeze passing through the shade of our Cabana, the hypnotic rhythm of waves ceaselessly washing over the sandy beach, sailboats slowly passing by, the Caribbean gospel music sung by a beach vendor in the distance, the steamy profile of Montserrat, the sparkle and glint of the sun reflecting off of the aqua and turquoise waters. It put us into a dreamy trance, unbroken until the gradual descent of the sun sinking into the fiery horizon.
