  The Sand Haven Hotel is located on the Sand Haven Beach opposite the McKinnons Pond and in proximity of the Fort James area. The hotel is reasonably well appointed and the guest and members of the public including others not staying at the hotel enjoy the Sand Haven Beach.
  
  The Sand Haven Beach is a very popular beach in Antigua especially for large family and Church Picnics on public holidays. The beach is so popular that some members of the picnicking group will arrive just after sunrise to secure a "good" spot for the rest of the group.
  
  The long pristine powdery white sandy beach with smooth, calm and invitingly warm water (all year round) is a delight for sea-bathers and sunbathers alike. Natural shade is on the beach where vehicles drive up to access the coastal beach.
  
  The scenery is quite spectacular with small islands and other parts of the
  Antiguan coastline forming picture postcard views. Jet-skis and other water crafts from the neighboring hotels form part of the seascape and Horseback riders and nature lovers form part of the living landscape as well. Don't forget to look in the opposite direction (away from the seascape that is); the surrounding hills are picturesque as well. Sand Haven has all of the ingredients for a rather fulfilling day at the beach.
