We just returned from our first trip to Galley Bay. The resort area is beautiful. My husband enjoyed snorkeling right outside of our room. The beach was lovely and very walkable. There is quite a variety of food at different restaurants,however just not to our specific taste. The staff is very accommodating. Our made service was very good. We had a nice sailing tour while at the resort. You might note there are fewer activities on the weekend than during the week. It was a lovely vacation for our anniversary.
My only notation, not a complaint is that the room we were in although clean was not really as well appointed as I would have thought for the caliber of the resort. A little spruce up in the decor would be wonderful.

Probably the most perfect locations I have been to. We had a single story room on the beach which I would recommend. You have to get used to Antigua time as things are done at a slower pace, but you soon get used to it. 100% recommend

The grounds are beautiful. Every restaurant has a view of the water. The resort is intimate enough that we made a few friends hanging out at the bar, but large enough that it never felt crowded or difficult for us to have alone time.
Most of the food was delicious - there was always at least one vegetarian item on the menu and every dessert was fantastic. The only downside was that they don't offer room service.
We also got massages at the spa. While they were pricey, our therapists were thorough and managed to get rid of knots I didn't know I had.
Easily one of my favorite vacations ever.

My wife and I went for to Galley Bay for a massage session today. I must say that this place is top of the line. From the person at the gate that let us through to all the staff we interacted with were great. I am big on service and they are second to none when it comes to that.

The massage was awesome. We left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. We plane to spend some time there in the future. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Lovely spot. Our crew of 6, who chartered a catamaran from Lavina at Sunsail Antgua, were lucky enough to secure an evening reservation at Galley Bay Resort. Our crew took the dingey to the resort and brought it up onto the beach. We joined the other guests and enjoyed a beautiful sunset before our delicious dinner in the outdoor dining room. After dinner we danced with the other resort guests to delightful island flare music! Such a great spot on a magnificent Island.

If you want a break from the crowds and high-rise resorts, the swim up bars and blaring music, and would enjoy a choice of three water front restaurants with exceptional dining, this would be the place to come. This is our second visit to Galley Bay and we love it. The accommodations are all right on the Caribbean beach or the lagoon and are elegant and comfortable. The staff, without exception, are wonderful and you'll never want to go anywhere else. Please keep this a secret!

Amazing time for a day pass. Staff was friendly and accommodating (A++) Got a beautiful upgraded beach front room and complimentary bottle of champagne. Wonderful little getaway.

UNBELIEVABLE TRIP!!!! Such a beautiful boutique resort with the most beautiful private, quiet beach! Plenty of palm tree shade, and plenty of sun to meet every beach lover's needs with ample loungers. The sand was never too hot to walk on, and you can easily get from one end of the cove to the other in a short 10 minute walk. Rooms are right on the beach with incredible views from your front patio, or your back patio. Plenty of outdoor showers to clean off the sand at every bungalow. Restaurants are all on the water and the Gaugin Restaurant with seatings at 6:30 and 8:30 offers individual "huts" with fans and lush vegetation views (Mike is an impressive server who calls you by name every visit!). Service is outstanding at every bar and restaurant. Minimal beach vendors (Ami, the beach masseuse is awesome!) Beautiful pool with plenty of chairs in shade or sun. You can ride bikes, play pool, ping pong, and all the traditional water sports (kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, catamarans, etc) Iba, the handsome activities director can hook you up with any excursions outside of the resort, but you may not ever want to leave this quiet tropical paradise!

My husband planned our honeymoon as a surprise for me and I couldn't have asked for more! You get a private place to sleep, a big bathroom, a private pool. We walked into our room to find our towels folded with fresh picked flowers. There was a fresh plate of fruit waiting for us. Upon arrival at we got a your of the island and were offered drinks while we we're checking in. Everything from the available activities, the accommodations, the views, the staff, and the restaurant was fantastic. Also, if you want somewhere to take a night time stroll while stargazing, this place is beautiful.
