Only walked through Hawksbill Beach Resort to get to the beach next door. Their facilities were very nice. Landscaping and facilities were immaculate. Would definitely consider staying there. They have more than one beach and they were all spectacular.
We had approx 48 guests at this hotel for our wedding. Adrienne and the staff were wonderful to us. At the end of a dead end road but only 15 minutes from St John, this location was perfect for us. The beaches are very nice and the food was well done with god variety. The hotel rooms are in various states of being updated, but even the older rooms are clean and well maintained. If you're looking for a peaceful location with amazing sunsets at a reasonable cost then this is your place!
Hawksbill beach, found on the west coast of Antigua is 5 minutes from town yet seperated enough to make one forget about the city. Lovely beach for sea bathing with water clear enough to see your toes. Not forgetting to mention the beautiful sunset from this location.
Reasonable rates . Nice location. Clean room. Customer service is lacking. Bar staff water down drinks making it unpleasant to drink. What a waste? Some wait staff need to be more observant and friendly. Go with an open mind not high expectations . It could be considered as value for money as it's inexpensive
Had an amazing time in Antigua at this resort during the winter holidays. Our room was steps from the beach, nice cool breeze, clean and private room. The food espacially the fish was amazing. You need to try their local "Susies hot sauce" amazing!!. Beaches all 3 were pristine. Nude beach was unimpressive. Fell in love with the goats that trim the grass. ( pretty sure we had one as goat soup at the buffetlol) People and staff was super nice and friendly. Only negative issue was when we check in they had lost confirmation of our purchase through redtag.ca I emailed them my customer copy. They literaly asked me 2 more times to email them back which caused frustration espacially during Caribbean vacation. Front desk and site manager need to get their act together. Everything else was great!!
Thanks Hawksbill for your flawless service.
Highly recommended, a beautiful corner of the world! The breakfast, lunch, and dinner is well prepared and served! What an amazing beach! Try their rum punchit's amazing

The Hawksbill Beach Resort may not be 5 star Hotel as star Rating go but this is not one of those. The Hotel is situated on the on a estate which includes the Hawksbill Beach, The Hawksbill Rock and many other quite interesting points of interest. The grounds and buildings are well kept and maintained, giving a quite relaxing ambiance with stunning scenic seascape and landscape views. The tall palm trees lining the entrance is a standout feature and the flowers and plants gives the impression of a Tropical Paradise.
Hawksbill Beach Resort was a great Hotel for me to have visited. I especially enjoyed those all-you-can-eat meals (I did it justice, twice), during my stay I enjoyed the room and the facilities. Having a choice of two or more Restaurants and scenery (great sunset views) was a great feature for me. The spacious lounge close to the front desk is a great WiFi hot-spot and a relaxing living room like environment (the nearby bar and restaurant were quite welcome as well).
The beaches on the hotel property (four or so, with the famous clothing optional beach) were quite enjoyable and the relaxing water was quite soothing. The Hawksbill Rock in the distance with the Old Sugar Mill Tower (now a boutique and gift shop) acting as landmarks. The splendid scenic views were breathtaking to say the least and the rooms were comfortable and well appointed.
All in all The Hawksbill Beach Resort is a great hotel for an extended stay a romantic weekend getaway, honeymoon or an all inclusive day pass.
Beautiful location right on its own beach but the resort could do with some updating.
Almost too awful to describe but I'll try. The beach grill and bar was infested with flies - everywhere!!! The location for dinner and breakfast was marginally better. At breakfast the juice and fruit table is covered in a mosquito net because of flies. Any meal is spent swatting flies away. The best (?) bungalows - quite old and dirty - overlook a nice beach that you can't swim in because of the large rocks/boulders in the water. The pool is a small rundown joke. The room's AC barely functioned. WiFi was a sometimes thing. Just don't go. I'd prefer to offer a no star review if I could.
After one night we spent our first day in Antigua driving around to find something, anything better. Stayed one more night then changed to another hotel. First time in our vacation lives we've ever had to do that because of how bad the hotel was.
I would have posted more photos but the place was so awful that it just seemed a waste of pixels.
We visited Antigua 20 years ago for our honeymoon. 20 years later we decided to go and chose the Hawkbill Beach Resort! What a great choice. The hotel is really nice and the most of the room are by the beach or a very short walking distance ( we are talking 30m!).
The hotel itself is getting old but it looks like they are renovating it slowly. Still our room was really clean so no complains here
The food was very good as well. The only issue is that they ran out of bananas 3 days into our stay and we didn't see any after that. The same happens for the pineapple.
Still I highly recommend the hotel. The staff is very friendly and will try hard to help and please you.
Very laid back atmospheres just s little scruffy round the edges
Wonderful experience with my husband. Best beach visited in Antigua so far.

Perfect for a retreat, quiet time, and just reconnecting with yourself or a friend or your lover
I went to this hotel every summer with my Mum. Have great memories and sunsets here.
Expect 3 start hotel and service
Fabulous View. Sea Front bungalow. Very quiet. All inclusive. Food a bit bland. Drink good and plentiful. Nice place to visit
Hotel in great position, with four beaches. Made to feel at home in the hotel, nothing too much trouble. Antigua is a lovely island with nice people
Away from all city noises, Newly Renovated Resort is a hidden gem, suitable for family vacations.
Lovely beach and hotel
Quiet place, beautiful beach, free drinks on the beach. Very quiet. If you come here on a cruise get a taxi down there and enjoy.
