On of the best vacations I've ever been on. The hotel was clean, on the beach and had friendly staff. Definitely will be back!
Everything was excellent beer from security to housekeeping
Beautiful beaches, great people.
Nice place. Nice people. Nice Service.
Some untits have been updated inside, others have not been updates. Ours was not updated, but it was ok. The area is great, we would come back to an updated kitchen. Love the people and staff.
Ideally situated on Dickenson Bay in Antigua is the Antigua Village Hotel. This hotel shares the beach with Patrons from the neighbouring Hotels such as Sandals and Sybony Beach Club on either side among others.
Luxury waterfront Villas and Hotel Rooms are available to the Hotel Guest's
Long romantic walks on the beach and plunging in the inviting Caribbeans Sea are all at your disposal. Private vendors provide many services to supplement the Hotel offering. A mini mart, restaurant and bar are nearby along with other entertainment options.
The grounds and garden including the many palm trees is a good place to catch up on novel reading while working on a tan.
Go on a boating trip. Visit the floating Bar and grill. Go Bird watching by the nearby Lagoon or just relay and enjoy the splendid scenery it all depends on preference.
I have been coming here with my family for many years. It's a wonderful relaxed setting and right on the beach. Lovely friendly and helpful staff, nice pool and gardens all help make this an ideal getaway.
Beautiful!
It's amazing
Because it clean and the staff are very nice the food is tasty and cheap
My husband and our three oldest children stayed at Antigua Village this last March. We were in Villa V5 which was simply amazing. Breathtaking view of the ocean right from our bedroom! Elegant decor throughout the villa and onto the terrace. What an absolutely incredible destination!
Decent place with kitchen options. Good beach.
Too close to noisy night clubs
Atypical and warm, friendly place to stay.
Solid but the screens in our studio weren't air tight and we got bit by mosquitoes!
Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Friendly atmosphere. First time here and was made to feel welcome by other guests. Agree with other reviewer re Sandals resort disrupting the peace. Our accommodations were on the other side of the property and we learned to block it out. Ana's has a great menu and excellent bar. There's a great little restaurant/bar next door - Coconut Grove. Putter's is across the road (good burgers!) and don't miss Thursday night's Trivia Games! It's a blast.
Antigua Village used to be a lovely, relaxing place for a holiday but since Sandals expanded it has become hell in Dickenson Bay. During the day Sandals broadcast their pathetic pool games and quizzes over a PA system. The area they do this is right on the boundary of Antigua Village. Just when you're relaxing on the beach this really annoying woman starts screaming down it - you can hear every word and even headphones will not block it out.
At night until 11.00 they have 'entertainment' in the same area. Bearing in mind that there's a 4 or 5 hour time difference between the UK and W Indies you will find it difficult to sleep even though AV sell ear plugs! It's not funny listening to terrible covers when it's the early hours of the morning for you.
Last night the final straw was a guy at Sandals using a jet washer to clean grills at 01.30. I don't think I'll be staying here again.
Also, the staff at Ana's Restaurant have really loud, good fun when they close up the property late at night.
Either there's no noise laws in Antigua or they're not adhered to!
