Very bad hospital , actually I'm not sure if I can call it hospital .

Lack of care and compassion, lack of staff to do enough to ensure patient comfort.

    • Staff who do not keep patients well informed.

    • Insufficient response to requests or complaints.

    • Long wait
    And many more ..

Hospital is located in the heart of the city. And has best infrastructure and with most of the hospital facilities. One of the biggest private hospitals in the emirate of Ajman. Price is reasonable. Clean and Hygienic.

Staffs are non-trained I guess. The management has to consider training the staff to enable best services.

my pregnant wife is running here and there for approvals , radiologist works until 11 p.m. but if you are present at 10 p.m. they don't take you inside and you need to come back again next day. from insurance approvals confirms but hospital system is more lazy, they will keep you waiting for approvals for hours despite approval is done from insurance company. one of the worst hospital we have ever experienced . i would have rated 1 also, no option but.

Good hospital in heart of the city, almost all kind of basic perticularly and majority of advance facilities are available. This is one of the oldest hospitals in the Ajman city. Not very expensive like others however not very economical too. Major issue you face is the additional medicine and test you need to pay on especially if you have insurance card.
Good option for the residents of Ajman and Sharjah city.

Worst service I have ever experienced in UAE. Please don’t ever visit this hospital for any cases. Medical centers and policlinis in Ajman are much better than this hospital. Rude nurses, slow doctors and unprofessional attitudes from staff will make you more sick. You have to wait hours to get treated at their emergency unit and they still call it emergency. The license should be revoked.

Worst service.. treating like animal.. they not even deserve ratings one.
I gone for emergency treatmen and I waited almost 45 minuets to start treatment
The nurses attitude is very bad.
I tried to report this to the manager and while speaking to him I understood I am wasting my time again.

If I had another choice to make the score below than one I would have given it in one instance..the staff are so rude and mean..always busy only with theirs gatupe and their doctors busy playing games on their mobiles..the insurance team didn't apply for approval unless you had a hard word with themif the doctor write urgent on the medical papers for the patients the other departments specially the radiologist think it's a jokeI would recommend the residents do not try this hospital ever you're day and health would be miserable

Visited the pediatric for a thing that has grown on my baby’s head, the doctor told me that he did not know what it was and told me to visit their dermatologist. Normally we would assume that they would cancel the appointment and transfer our files to the dermatology department but instead he gave us a lotion as prescription and said it was a consultation. I tried to complain to their manager and patient relationship department about the consultation but guess what it was no better than talking to the wall. I would definitely not recommend this hospital to anyone who’s planning to come, the doctor has a lack of ethics in this situation.

The thing is I was not surprised when I saw what people are saying about this hospital. If there is review score below zero I will definitely put that.

They are worst than bad. They threat people like animal and the one who called themselves management I think they have to take training.

I don't want to see or pass by this hospital no matter what. This much they are worst

Thumbay hospital is one of the good hospitals in Sharjah and Ajman but their processes are vey non negligible. I have face 3 same problems in aprox 3 to 5 months and their process problem remains same..

Be reminded if you have complain there is no complain number, no complain form number and they do not follow up. If you call for follow up comments will be "its internal process" by which customer time is wasted and they dont care (no quality control system).

Thumbay Ajman - Emergency section is really unprofessional. They need to understand what does " emergency" means and how such a department function. As a layman, I understand that Emergency section in a hospital is there to stable the condition of patient initially and then move into further diagnosis. I went to emergency section with my 5 year daughter morning at 5am. The duty doctor examined and give us suppositories as my daughter was suffering from severe constipation which resulted in abdomen pain. we went back home, her condition became worse. We both being working came back from office and again took her to emergency by 8pm. Doctor examined and sent to further diagnosis to a consultant pediatrician . My daughter was in pain which is getting repeated every 30 min. This consultant prescribed a ultra sound scan which took another 2-3 hours to get it done. Mean time she was getting really sick. When we got back with the result, other doctor said, it should have been an X-ray which has to be done . Finally at around 11.30pm at night this doctor has given 3 injection and required medicals service. My point is there is not consistency in how doctors diagnose a patient. At teh end Insurance did not approve the so called medication and injection given by doctor. as Insurance company said, both diagnosis and treatment given doesn't match. When we told this to the doctor, he has the audacity to tell us that you should change the insurance . How the hell he can say this to us to change the insurance company when his diagnosis and treatment doesn't match???? Finally we left hospital at 2pm without any medication or any prescription for my child. Nurse and other staff were good. But the doctors are a night mare. I would never ever recommend GMC ajman emergency to anyone because they dont understand the word " EMERGENCY". ( i HAVE GIVEN ONE STAR JUST TO PUBLISH THIS POST)

The best hospital in UAE. 3 weeks ago, had an accident on jet ski. Ambulance took me to Al Qassimi. Nightmare of the hospital. After i was able to sit in a wheelchair, i transferred to Thumbay Ajman. Friends recommended Dr. Mohammed Sobhy from general surgery in Thumbay Ajman. Stayed 2 days. The best nurses, doctors, especially Dr. Mohammef Sobhy. They made me feel welcomed, and assured me that i will get the best care, which was true at the end. Special thanks to all, especially right wing nursing station.

It was my worst experience. The nurses and even the dr.s in the labour department were so unprofessional and didnt attent their patients. Families waiting outside were not informed about the patients inside.
I feel bad that i had recomended this hospital to my friends. The gyna department was really good before. they should have someone to supervise the nurses and dr.s in the labour ward to make sure they are doing their job properly.

Worst ever experience. Doctors there don't listen to patents (I am specifically talking about Dr. Nina Vicol who don't even know how to talk humanly. She always had a piece of work at home no matter how much a patient is suffering she can't give you time but they have time to send you for payment anyway). Their focus is on how to take more money from your pocket by prescribing more that not required especially at the surgery dept and if you have insurence just forget about your treatment for many days because they will not send complete details to insurence company and every time you have to wait for two three days. The hospital will not attend your call no matter how many times you try, and if by chance they attend, they will transfer the call to some desk where no one is available.
Ministry of health should take a notice for such kind of poor services and worst prectices at the hospital

We went to get my baby's circumcision. The appointment for the circumcision itself was there, but doctor was so full that we were told it wasn't possible that day, but ''perhaps he could squeeze the surgery between appointments''. Pretty unprofessional. We did continue and got traditional circumcision another day. My baby screamed a lot but thank God the procedure was very quick. I still feel bad about it to this day, as the doctor kept telling a looong story about how to take care of the circumcision, right after he did it. I'm standing with a screaming baby and you're going to tell me a long story now? Just write it down beforehand and give it on a paper

Something other ridiculous, things: long waiting, no organizing of who comes first, 800 dhs for making a procedure that took 10 minutes? I saw this general doctor getting about about 10 patients per hour. This hospital is making serious money but refuses to improve their services or increase the amount of doctors.

And the worst: we had to sign a paper that the hospital was not reliable of anything in case baby fell. I don't know why I didn't just leave by then, my mistake.

In the end, circumcision was okay, but although it is simple, if I got another son, I would rather pay excessive money to another hospital for this simple circumcision, to get more care for my baby.

Best option for the middle class, reasonable and good doctors. Waiting time depends on the time you visit the place, but usually there is a wait time. Mixed opinion about staffs; my favourite doctor in gmc is Ms. Meenu Cheriyan, ENT.

Good hospital but that main issue is the road to going to the hospital is confusing and very hard to get to the hospital without getting lost and making a round I live in Ajman and I find it difficult to go to the hospital I like this hospital but the access road is very inconvenient and confusing to everyone I hope they solve this issue. I sometimes go to alternative hospital just to avoid going in that area.

Very nice for Healthcare. Only thing is they cant adjust for the appointment timing. Mostly for working guys suppose to come for treatment at evening or night time only. It would be very appreciate to get the flexible appointment time, rest of all things are very good.
