The ultimate disaster. Easily the worse day of my year.
My kids go to a school that sources their uniforms from this supplier. Every year, it's the same story. It is an absolute rush at the shop, the line is so long, most items are out of stock, and there is 0 consistency in sizes.
This year, we have reached a peak of poor service, with endless lines and rude staff, because they are understaffed by at least half of their staff and not enough to cater to all the parents standing in line.
My 64 year old parents were with me, and were not even considered due to their age and they had to stand on their feet for 3 h30 hours, I kid you not.
Shameful. I pray the Lord I no longer have to deal with such an unprofessional company.response / report this review -

Worse staff. Not fair. With favoritism. Indian staff allowing their countrymen to enter without appointment. While other nationality waited for their cue. This is unacceptable. The Indian security guard is even rude with us customers. You should teach your staff good manners and practice good customer service. GEMS school should think of other provider.

They make you take 4 trips for uniforms. They never have stock. Even if you make custom made uniforms, they send you a message that you order is ready for pick up. You go there then you are informed that the PE uniforms will take more time. They don't bother to call and tell you that all items are not ready and it's not just me they conduct themselves in this manner with others too. They have the audacity to advise saying use the formal uniforms till then. If we have to use formal uniforms for PE days then why does the school enforce using PE uniforms, why waste the parents money. They don't even know what items they have, when you ask them if they have a particular they will keep looking and asking one another do you know if you have stock then one person will go in to check. It's like playing parking the parcel with them. They have been doing uniforms for gems schools for many years yet they behave like they have just opened shop the night before. They promise to call when stock arrives, it's been one year and still waiting for the call to come for caps, so on my recent visit I asked again, apparently they still don't have stock and promised to call. It's time Gems schools give parents other options for uniforms, because these guys at threads take the advantage and harass parents.

I deal with them for five years now , but I think I will make the uniforms myself by any tailor.
This is the worst company making a uniform clothes for kids.
The quality is very bad, It damages from the first cleaning, and it doesn’t last long in a normal school week.
It’s not comfortable for the kids, and not fixable, as if there was an ink got into it it doesn’t come off, even though I tried everything ( vanish, dry cleaning, etc..)
It is the bad quality
Kids wear them as if they were poor because of the stitches and the holes in the t shirts and the shirts. They je get so embarrassed. It is like a burned fabric.
That’s not only me it’s all the parents as well. And we’re looking for another source or make it ourselves.
I registered complains a lot of times but nothing changes.
The items are overpriced for such a bad quality, we’re going to tell the school that we don’t want to deal with this company anymore.response / report this review -

Threads Times Square is a Consitant NIGHTMARE ! Have been buying uniform for Gems Heritage Indian school from last 3 years and never ever ever. they give correct size. They don’t take phone calls. The size of trial are different than the ones in inventory. Be prepared, to visit at least 3 to 4 times and make numerous phone calls 😒😒😒😒😒

Not even worth single star, they are apparently only uniform supplier for several schools and they definitely know how to take advantage of this position. Had to run between their Burjuman and Time Square stores multiple times to get winter clothes for my boy, when both of these stores kept sending me to each other saying that uniform is available only on the other store not on their store.
Finally found what I was looking for in Time Square store and they took a week for alteration, when I got it back I noticed that they gave me the sample piece which is randomly stiched from everywhere and threads coming out from all over the trousers. This sample piece was shown to me even at the time of purchasing however I was promised that they will give me a fresh piece instead of the sample piece and that piece was only being used for trial purposes at the time.
You so inconveniently located, its a pain to get to the place if someone doesn't have a car, and then you get cheated by the store by such mischievous acts. I can't believe that it can be a mistake, surely sample and fresh stock isikept separately and the guys who were altering it must have noticed this as well, still.
Threads, I understand that you have a monopoly in the market but that doesn't mean you can make a fool of your customers. Afterall, you are charging money for whatever you are selling, high price for low quality stuff.
Not much can be done in this regard I guess, apart from venting out on social media however I still wanted to writwrite this review just to make others aware of how good/bad your services are and probably someone in your organisation with good deeds and having enough authority to bring some change, reads this and takes appropriate action.response / report this review -

I visited threads time square to order custom stitched uniform for my daughter in August 2018. After having to wait for more than 2 weeks what I got is a very ill fitting loose dress. Whoever has done the stitching either didn't see the measurements properly or doesn't know tailoring. They overcharged for custom made dress and finally gave me free size stuff. It's much better to buy readily available sizes and do alteration from outside. There aren't any good tailors in this place for sure. I hope the management would take notice.

Daylight robbery
Last day I went to buy a tie at Threads shop for my son (as he lost current one), but the shop offered me old model tie! They were telling that, they want to finish old stock for their profit! and buy new tie again after 2 terms! This is definitely not acceptable since the tie model has already changed. I insist for new model tie, but they are not ready to give new.

Uniforms supplier in UAE mostly for GEMs schools. They need to improve services and train their staff. Most of the time you will not find all items available.

They normally have what we go in for but can run out of some items. This is especially annoying when it happens too soon after the uniform rush starts - they need to stock up better. Parking is usually ok but can be impossible during peak times. Staff are mostly helpful.

Horribly unprofessional. Already two attempts for Made to measure trouser. Was promised to get it delivered at home in 2 days and after 7 days when i follow up, i get the message that its not ready and they will inform me WHEN ITS READY. !! Asked to have a chat with manager and phone disconnected after putting me on hold for few minutes. Will inform School authorities.

Exclusive uniform supplier to many schools. Location and purchasing options are flexible (in-store or online). Not a fan of my son's PE trousers.. horrible choice of material.. not sure who's to blame for that.. the school or Threads for agreeing to produce them like that.

Well organized and clean , The service is sometimes good and sometimes not ! They also made a mistake with an order that they have placed for me online and I got shorts that were unadjustable . Also I always have to wait for a month or so because they are always out of my son's size .

This place sells school uniforms for several different schools in Dubai. Often runs out of stock for particular items during busy season. The customer toilets here are in poor condition. Parking is usually available onsite. The outlet is not wheelchair friendly.
