Easy to park. Small spinneys and a new children's drop and play nursery just opened which is handy. Some nice restaurants like karma kaffe and baker and spice. Also has shake shack and burger rebel, Starbucks and Shakespeare. Has also the touristy trinkets and pashminas. A good place to bring visitors especially if Dubai mall is busy. For the fountain did on the baker and spice terrace

It is like in Rick restaurant. Remeber me about Casablanca movie. Great meals and atmosphere. It's likely to drink a cold beer in a hot place. Everything is perfect.

The walk around the souk is lovely and entertaining especially with the water dance of the fountain in front of Burg Khalifa and light shows of the Burg Khalifa in the evening. Nice spot to take photos. The souk itself is limited in shops and mainly has a few restaurants that have nice seating and ambiance. It also had a few stores that sell some local products. I wouldn't go just for the souk but rather as part of the experience of walking around that area.

Souk the Bahar or "the sea market" is an amazing outdoor place. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops. An amazing view of burj Khalifa. The fountain is just stunning. Fountain shows start from 7:00 pm till 11:30 pm every 30 minutes. You can enjoy the shows from many of the available restaurants.

The PLACE IN DUBÁI! located in Downtown Dubai is one of the places you can not miss, surrounded by the tallest building in the world, and the dancing water fountain! you have many businesses inside the Souk to buy what you can think of and also several gastronomic options of the best level!

This is a good place for locals and for tourists to take a break from all the sightseeing and do some normal shopping with good restaurants and some great sweet stores. However, come here expecting a local market or an attraction you're visiting. It's a very modern mall with architecture that's made to look old - you won't miss much of you skip this.

This place is awesome. It merges modern and traditional architecture. You can get quite a few restaurants with direct views of the Dubai Fountain. There's also some very nice coffee and cakes around too. It's also very accessible (directly connected to Dubai Mall by a bridge). A must visit!

Really fragmented place.. easy access to Dubai mall and better parking alternative.. walking distance (with a nice view) from the fountain and Dubai Mall.. has a traditional touch which makes the whole place unique.. well organised!

Surprisingly comfortable place to be, quieter inside with less crowd, good selection of small shops for well priced souvenirs, and good food choices. It actually made shopping much more pleasant than the big mall.

Avoid open areas when it is humid. The bars inside are actually really good and fun. They also have good restaurants.

Brilliant restaurants and a nice ambience, good parking for the mall if you don't want to tackle the mall car park.Just make sure you use your entertainer vouchers for deals in the restaurants

Often a place missed on a trip to Dubai, head across the bridge to the souk. Great place. Nice restaurants on the top floor especially a Lebanese restaurant. If you are ok with the temperature, take a seat on the exterior balcony to watch the dancing fountains.

I like Souk Al Bahar, it has a very nice selections of food and drinks places, a few little shops.

However don't be put off by how quite it is, and take a little walk around

    Places I've been and recommend

    - Baker and Spice; really nice coffee and really nice selections of hand made Cakes, brownies (not on the menu - but on display) and at a very good price

    - Kanpai; really nice restaurant very friendly service, good food and drinks. I went with a few friends in the evening or set menu and drinks

    Enjoy
