4 star hotel gets a 4 star from me, its good looking hotel alot of rooms, swimming pool, restaurants, I stayed there for 2 weeks with bed and breakfast make sure you include that if you want to stay there for longer, breakfast was terrible, its a buffet and not cooked very well, some staff were nice some were nasty and smelly lol i recommend you going to near by restraurants because they have brilliant cooked food and its cheap :)

Beatifull swimming pool
A nice and small gym for fitness enthusiasts who dont wanna miss workouts even when on the road
Resturant is very beatifully decorated and breakfast is perfect, with great variety
5 minute walk to the nearst Metro station (abu bakr al saddiq)
Rooms were rather big and comfortable, but without a good view
You gotta take your own slippers or ask the room service to bring for you
The staff were friendly and helpfull
The deira area is a bit far from some of the good shopping centers and tourist attractions

Check in was smooth and the hotel staff were very helpful and really good they helped me regarding any help I needed. Rooms were quite big and clean and the king size bed was just aweasome. Also the hotel is situated in the middle of the city which makes it really easy for people to reach from a place to another place via any mode of transport. Hence I would definitely recommend the hotel for staying.

Formerly known as Sheraton hotel Deira. 10mins walk from the metro station. Friendly neighborhood. Average night life close by to the building. Good and clean rooms with apt room service. Fairly priced during the peak seasons. Many tour operators prefer to book this hotel. Two night clubs in the building premises. Also they have a terrace bar serving cold beer, hot food and fantastic hukkah till the wee hours.

An average 4 star hotel and in the heart of Dubai. Their infrastructure seems bit old. The air conditioning is not proper and quality of the bed is not upto the mark.
They offer very good breakfast.
There is an Indian style night club inside.

Old hotel with unpleasant smell. The stuff friendly and helpful but not well organized and need better management. Room specious but not decorative. You don't feel much you in 4 star hotel room

Very good and helpful staff, really nice hotel. One star off because the swiming pool was closed for the whole week. Receptionist told us, that it will be open, but it didin't happen.

We have been only staying at this hotel since 2005 and we always had a wonderful experience. We have just come back from 9 nights stay in August 2017. I cannot praise enough, the whole hotel staff from hotel Manager Mr Rahul to porters, kitchen staff and room service they all looked after our interests and thanks to Mr Rahul we had a late checkout at no extra cost.
The location of the hotel is good very close to Dubai Airport and restaurants, gold souk is very close.
The hotel serves buffet breakfast and the choice is very good thoroughly enjoyed it.

My stay in your hotel was AMAZING! My first contact was with the security and then to one sweet lady called Monika on arrival . Perfect reception.
Breakfast was excellent ! housekeeping, perfect! Reminders lovely!
In all , everything was just on point. Thumbs up to all the staff of Grand Excelsior hotel. If I have to do Dubai again! I will do Grand Excelsior hotel!

While in Dubai I slept in this hotel.Their breakfast is to die for! Amazing fruits. The staff is very helpful and kind. Nice spacious rooms,the hygiene is on point. Above and beyond.

Smells damp and musky, and I guess no one obeys the 'No smoking' signs, coz there's a strong smoke residue in the air. But the food is 5 star, and they're reasonably priced.
