I had a very bad experience here. The clinic told us my insurance was accepted for direct billing, so we made appointments for the entire family. The day of our appointment, they told us our insurance was not accepted for direct billing and held our ID cards until we paid cash.

This is government clinic. I was expecting that it will be cheaper then private clinics. However the price is similar like any other private clinics. And because it is government for UAE nationals everything is free but any other nationality you need to pay unless you have very strong health insurance. For my baby I was having Daman visitor health insurance (because she is on visitor visa) and that did`t help at all. For one pediatric check I needed to pay 275 AED and for medicals aroud 140 AED more. The good thing is that doctors are good and my baby was fine after that medical treatment. However I was having another problem: doctor said that for next week it will be free to check her again to see if everything went well. We was on Tuesday first check out, and next week again on Tuesday we went again and at the reception they said we need to pay. I said if we need to pay then we don`t want check out. And they send us to see doctor, after we finished they was asking 157 AED. I was in shock and I argued with them but at the end I needed to pay. So in general good clinic but very bad customer service especially on reception desk.
