I have just spent two days there, in my humble opinion the hotel is overrated.
Nothing wrong with it, but it is not as I expected, not even close to the Ritz.
An example, the breakfast quality was average, rooms furniture are not that highly quality and missing the small things (Arab Travelers know what is Shattaf for example).

Unbelievable hotel! Gorgeous location for a romantic couples holiday!.. The service and food is exceptional! It is quite expensive in comparison to some of the other hotels in Dubai but you have to pay for quality and the extra money is reflected in the exceptional service and quality received and was worth every extra penny!..

First class hotel. One & Only delivers on the 5 stars expectations on every aspect. The atmosphere there is excellent, the food caters to many tastes, very nicely located on a prime beach location with excellent facilities outdoors and indoors. The staff are very attentive to your needs and stove to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Give it a try!

One of Dubai's best hotels with a great beach, excellent amenities and top notch service. The rooms are very spacious and the hotel is situated closer to the Palm Jumeirah with an excellent view. Highly recommend for discerning vacationers!

A beautiful place to stay right on the Arabian gulf. They have a private beach sand extensive outdoor pool area. We paid just to use these areas as our hotel was more downtown. If we had the finances then we probably would have stayed here and loved it.

Very comfortable not too flashy hotel for both couples and families. Good food, great service and excellent pool area. Beach is well kept but looks on to construction on the Palm. Here and there could do with a bit of a refresh, but all in all we had a fantastic time with our one year old son.

Stayed here for one night after a business trip. Worth the cost, although it was quite reasonable due to low season (Aug).

Main pool area is lovely with umbrellas and palm trees for shade. Staff bring you a cool box with cold water and cold flannel. They literally can't do enough for you - there's even someone who will clean down guests sunglasses in the pool, someone one who will offer fruits and refreshments at midday.

I didn't get the shuttle to the Arabian Court due to my short stay but would definitely recommend the Bar and Restaurants having been before. There is a complimentary shuttle boat to the One and Only Palm if you have a reservation.

Room is huge with a balcony / terrace overlooking the court yard/pool.

I can't wait to come back - my new favourite hotel.

Not about the hotel itself, rather the dining facilities.

A group and I went to the Ramadan tent Majli hosted by O&O. I was absolutely appalled. There was dhs 205 minimum spend per person - when we asked the waiter how much was left for us to reach the minimum, he told us an amount. We ordered to reach the spend, it turns out the waiter lied to us in order to get make more money on our table. We had already reached our minimum spend when we initially asked him!!! The food was decent however, everything took so long to arrive - We had to follow up the staff on everything that we ordered constantly! The music was horribly loud, no one could hear each other talk. We asked for the music to be brought down to a more comfortable level and were promised it would but never did. Finally, when it came to the final bill we realised there was an additional of 3 people's minimum spend/cover charge. We had 3 friends who came to say hello and left within 10 minutes (without any food or drink consumed), the staff were not able to accommodate chairs for our friends so they left soon after. If there's no space for them, that's fine but I don't understand how they had the audacity to charge dhs 615 for people they left standing? They argued about this for about 20 minutes and didn't understand why what they were doing was wrong. Sigh. Worst customer service I've ever had in Dubai.

Lovely lounge at the reception with live band from 9pm till midnight. Bery couzy and very classy. Also they have an amazing romantic restaurant with fantastic food.

Stayed here on first trip to Dubai. Rooms are lovely and the food is just first class. I made use of the piano lounge for daytime meetings and the staff soon came to know how I liked my Earl Gray. Definitely a quiet business or retreat hotel - it wouldn't be my first choice if I had the kids with me.

Top class accommodation. This is a very upmarket resort. Beautiful complex and rooms. Stunning pool. Good variety of restaurants. Short walk to Dubai Marina.
