Nice welcome to the guests, loved the female DJ. The ambience in general is perfect. The staff is very friendly. The foodI expected more from all I've heard about that restaurant. It was not a bad experience but I personally think it's overrated.

First I’ll start with the positives. The staff were great here, starting with the front desk hosts and through to the waiters and bus boys. Everyone was very attentive and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for more from the service.

Where I have a problem is the food. We went with the 5 course tasting menu because we expect those types of menus to be the more interesting food that we wouldn’t usually order on our own. If ordering for ourselves we tend to stick in our comfort zone. The food itself was “fine” but at this price and given the reputation of Nobu I was expecting great. The first course was a seared salmon dish which was good and probably one of the better courses. What killed me was the 2nd course. California rolls and 2 basic nigiri. Seriously, California rolls! And not even the best ones I’ve ever had. No interesting spin on them. Next came the black cod which was tasty and something we would have ordered from the full menu. 4th course was beef tepanyaki. It was ok but pretty basic. Nothing I will remember later. Then dessert was strange. 2 scoops of a Japanese ice cream (good) paired with 3 Swiss chocolates in a box. Not quite sure what the purpose of that was.

Overall I was just really disappointed. The decor of the restaurant felt dated and like a chain. Then the food quality paired with it just left us with a bad impression. If you’re looking to stay in your comfort zone maybe this is good for you but overall I left feeling like I’d wasted my money.

We ordered different dishes. The japanese mojitos, the black cod and the desserts were amazing. The other dishes (lobster salad and the rock shrimp tempura) weren't THAT great, they weren't bad but for that price i was expecting a bit more. I was specially disappointed that the sushi was so average, the soft shell crab roll is really overrated. The makis also nothing special. It's a very pricey place and to be honest i left the place very disappointed. The service was confusing, we didn't have a designated waiter for us.. We waited a lot till someone came to get our order. We had 3 different people, didn't get the names of them. I was expecting something truly unforgettable. I don't know maybe my hopes were too high. I don't think the place is worth the money

Awesome dinner and drinks experience at Nobu. I’m still dreaming about the black miso cod and Japanese mojitos! But what made our evening was the service we received from our waiter Mike, expert mixologist Bruce Lee, and manager Scott. They all went out of their way to make my mother’s 60th birthday celebration a truly special event. Thanks to you all, I can’t wait to return next time we are in Dubai!

Amazing experience, particularly recommend the marinated sashimi s and the black cod.

It was a trendy place. And the interior was breathtaking. However, the waiters need to act more like as if they are working at a high end restaurant. The sushi was good. but not to my expectations. I will come again in a month to try all of them.

We went here for a friend's birthday. Firstly they told us on entry we weren't allowed to bring her personalised birthday cake in and that we could only consume cake bought from them. Apparently its their policy so we gave them the cake to store for us until we finished our meals.
Secondly it took about an hour before our food came out after we had ordered and it came in dribs and drabs. I know Nobu have a "family style" thing going on but I really think this should be optional.

I had some sort of crab starter which I actually really enjoyed. Myself and 3 other girls ordered the seafood paella whilst the other 4 girls ordered chicken teriyaki. 2 of the girls who ordered the paella found it so disgusting they actually didn't eat it. I felt the paella lacked flavour and the rice was much harder than expected for a paella dish. I managed to eat most of mine as I hadn't eaten at all that day however it certainly wasn't worth the dish it was served in let alone the price I paid for it. The girls who had the chicken felt it lacked taste but wasn't awful.

The only reason I have given 2 stars as opposed to 1 is because of how well the manager dealt with our complaint when he eventually came over after we waited 25 mins for the waiter to call him over for us. He listened to our complaints and seemed genuine in trying to rectify the situation by offering substitutes and free starters as well as taking the uneaten paellas off the bill.

i would avoid Nobu in general either it be in London or Dubai as a few people have mentioned the quality of their food is below par wherever in the world it is located.

The food is in large quantities but poor of qualitie. Sorry the all you can eat is not a japanies thing. I say less is more but from a better quality. Tuna had fat and the scripts where like plastic. I feel sorry they had to die. Mass-produced not worth the calories.

The only reason that my husband and I booked at this restaurant was because we checked out the menu and found that they serve sea urchin. We made the reservation and specifically asked if it's available that day on the menu. The woman that took our booking assured us it was. We arrived had a drink at the bar and was nicely surprised with the service. We then proceeded to the restaurant area and when the waiter was taking down our order informed us that the sea urchin was NOT available. Overall the food was ok, but the yellowtail was cut too thick. The manager was rude while the waiter was very professional. The place is over priced and if you're a true sushi lover please go to Okko, this place overall was a big let down.

Food is phenomenal and service is great. It is one of my absolute favourites. The two things I am less excited about are the decoration and the ambience. The decoration gives you a feeling you are coming into rainforest cafe and the place is so spacious that it may sometimes feel that you are sitting alone in there. Nevertheless, the gastronomical experience is superior.

Definitely not worth all the hype. I went for a Friday brunch and for the prices they charge, I expect a lot more. They can do a lot better on food selection, quality, and service. If you're looking for something similar, I recommend Zuma. The sushi is much better there and the service impeccable.

Ok food. Poor service. Requested to have the service charge removed at the service was terrible, however manager said he could not do that instead offered free mediocre deserts which we was not given the option of choosing. Wouldn't return back. Compared to other Nobu around the world this is the worst. Would recondmend going to Coya at the four seasons instead.

Horrible food and horrible service. The worst sushi restaurant in New York city is better then this place. It's WAY over priced for such bad food! We order one hot noodle soup which taste SWEET! Paid over 300 dollars and came out feeling sick!

I don't usually write a lot of reviews but this place is really shameful! My wife and I ordered a couple of rolls and let me tell you, they tasted like NOTHING! I've had rolls from the supermarket better than thatthe menu if overpriced and the staff is clueless. Really felt like I was in one of those sushi restaurant located in a gas station. Avoid!!!

Love this place , wonderful setting , tasty Japanese food and great service . Smoking is not allowed in the dining area , They have outdoor sitting area aw well . Try the crispy fried rice , Its a must
