The worst maintenance company I have ever seen in DubaiI had annual maintenance contract with them I can say they almost destroyed any thing I request for fixing or maintenance to them and I've had to redone all of their messy job ..lack of knowledge and experience, very bad management and costumer service !

Signed an annual maintenance contract with them for my villa. I have to say that their quality of work is quite bad and their customer service is one of the worst I've seen. Here are some examples:

1) Used their pest control services which were included in my contract, only to find the pests back in my house literally 2 months after. Called them again since they had guaranteed their service for 6 months only to find out I'd have to pay if I needed it done again. I doubted the quality of work when I saw the guy carry out the service, but didn't want to judge too quickly since I'm not a pest control expert. I guess I should have.
2) had to make an appointment with them for AC servicing a month before it was due, since their guys hadn't done a good job at the last servicing and my entire upper floor air conditioning wasn't working. Nobody showed up to carry out the job. Spoke to them again the next morning only to find out that no notes had been entered in their system and no bookings were made. Their classic reply that is the dead end to all your problems is "let me check with the co-ordinator and get back to you", which never really happens and you end up discussing your problem with about 4-5 people over a span of a few days before finally giving up.

Nitty Gritty is by far the worst maintenance experience I've had to date and I would never use their service again, even if they were the last company in the world.

Nitty Gritty must undeniably be the worst maintenance company in the UAE. They are unresponsive. unprofessional and totally unreliable in terms of quality and timely delivery of service. Initially and after paying them AED 30,000 for a pool job (installing a water heater and building a simple enclosure around the pool pump)they took 4 weeks for a job that they had originally committed to complete in 2 weeks. Additionally, the work was so shoddy, that they had to take it down and redo it over another 2 weeks.
Despite this, and being the optimist that I am, I decided to give them a second chance and paid them almost AED 6,000 for an annual pool maintenance contract and another AED1,500 for a villa deep cleaning. The result was disastrous. The pool is constantly dirty and poorly maintained and they require weekly follow up via phone and email to just give my money's worth in terms of service. As for the villa cleaning and after committing that they would do the job over a Sunday / Monday, as late as Tuesday morning, no work had been started. Again, and after multiple follow ups they finally came. When I made a surprise visit in the middle of the day, I found them relaxing in the garden under the gazebo having a nice lunch with friends. It was 1pm in the afternoon and no work had started. After another few complaints the villa was finally cleaned but not without collateral damage. The cleaning crew broke something in the ground floor toilet plumbing, flooded the whole villa, left it in that state, locked the doors and leftwithout even the common courtesy of reporting the issue to me. Lastly, and despite my clear written instructions for them to remove all garbage (dead leaves, and dirt from the villa cleaning) from the villa, the kindly left about 6 large garbage bags at the entrance of my villa.

So my recommendation to anyone considering using Nitty Gritty is..STAY AWAY..there are many other much better companies in Dubai.The only 2 things you are guaranteed to get from Nitty Gritty is..ZERO SERVICE.and HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE !!!!
