Best place to get fish for good price. It's huge market near to the fishing harbor. You can buy fresh fish, eat freshly cooked fish from the market. Almost all the variety of fish you can get it from there. Bargain for best price if you want. There is a separate cutting area. You can get small iceboxes to preserve your fish fresh. On the way to market you can find a biggest fruits and vegetables market, flower market, pets market and carpet souq.

Generally fresher and cheaper fish daily.
Great if you're cooking for a party or planning for a BBQ.
They are efficient and the provide cleaning service. There is no worries about having to clean small fishes or peel prawns.
There are restaurants nearby to grill your seafood and fish for you.
Very convenient set up.

I had heard a lot about this place so finally one day I decided to go and explore it. This is about 5 km away from the city. There is a lot of sellers inside the market so you need to be good at bargaining to get the best price for the fish. Once you have bought the fish you can give it to the restaurants there which will grill/barbecue/fry the fish at a reasonable price. When we went there it was crowded and we had to wait in the queue outside a restaurant to sit and eat there (this shows how popular that place is). I would recommend visiting this place if you are a fish lover, you can see and eat a variety of fishes.

You need to know how to bargain and select the fresh fish. Plenty of people to cook or clean the fish for you so you don't have to take it home. Reasonable prices. However, they need to clean up the floors more often.

Good place to get fresh fish with competitive prices, but you have to take care when buying from the merchants since they will try to sell in a high prices as well they will try to give old fish if you didn't take care.
So select the fish your self and negotiate with them before buying and you will have a good deal.

Also there are shops which provide cocking for the fish, they will take 15AED/kg for barbeque over charcoal and 10 for frying or oven cocking.
Take care that on Friday they will be very busy, and your order may take hours on the queu.

A better place to buy fresh fishes for a better price in Abu Dhabi.
But you have to pay additional amount for cleaning the fish while in other places they do it for free.

Also there are stores available for grilling the fish. You can buy it and give it to them they will do the rest for you. But i didn't feel comfortable with the neatness of the place.
