I wanted to rate this place in minus stars. Yesterday I went to this place to pick up two rings that I ordered to make and also to buy scarlet ear stud for my little girl. I gave my order to Mr Ashish (sales representative) and on a telephonic conversation had confirmed that I will be there by Thursday evening. On entering the showroom, I came to know that he is having off that day, no problem I came to Malabar for my ring. It was not very crowded, so I approached a sales representative named Kishore, gave him the previous bill and told him my reason of coming. I found this chap hunting around other people to know where my ring is. I realized that they don't have a system where they keep a record of the ready to deliver items. I kept standing with my family and told them to see an ear stud for my daughter. Now there is no one to attend you. I asked a guy who was standing pretty jobless. He told just a minute and then vanished. Next man was two steps ahead, his name is Mr Faisal. A total disinterest on face, looking at you. As if please don't ask me. I told him to show some nice ear stud, he told, you go to opposite counter to see. I told him it in front of us, he with grim face told us, oh you want scarlet only. You can see its here. He didn't take any effort to ask what type, what are the new design. Kept looking here and there. On asking to show one, he took it out. We asked for the price. He started calling the guy kishore who is still searching the ring, God knows where. I started getting angry and I told him, what is this, you can't show me a ear stud. You have to ask someone else for that. He with total total disrespect said kishore your customer is asking something. Now I was furious. What kind of behavior is this, it's like you came to Malabar, we didn't call you, Malabar is a big name and we can make you wait and even insult you. A total low standard way of dealing, even the representatives are taking with each other in Malayalam, as if if you know Malayalam, we will deal with you better. Any how kishore came and told he needs some more time to find the rings, and picked up the stud we wanted, we wanted to leave the place as fast as possible. No this best representative Mr Faisal, came to give a justification, he pointed at my old bill and told your sales representative is off today, ooh, now I understand my mistake. I should not come to Malabar if my sales representative is not there. See if you do mistake like this, Malabar people have a right to insult you. The best part I was annoyed and was raising my voice and the other senior people in the billing counter was looking at me as if why the hell he is shouting. But didn't came and enquired to help. Any how I finished my work and sweard not to visit again. It's just a big showroom with filthy staff. This is not the first time. This has happened before too.
