Excellent place for family travelers.staff are very friendly and professional. Private beach and swimming pool is very nice.Good location for new year celebration. Good view to the fireworks.Glub longe is loaded with many drinks including alcohol

Love the open village ambience, where all the restaurants of the hotel open into for outdoors seating.
Lovely place to take the family too, due to the open spaces in the garden area the kids can play around too.
Good food outlets and gotta have the dish "Shank" from the outlet called the Captain's Arm.response / report this review -

Fairly worn out, an old hotel but good service and comfy beds. Ok breakfast buffet. Free bar service in fourth floor possible if booked with the room, was included in my breakfast charge. Found a beetle in my bed the last night I stayed, a tad unpleasant. Notified the staff who seemed to take it seriously. Nice gym and outdoor swimming pool. Could stay again if the price is right.

A mere 2 night stay between flights was a mistake. This hotel is actually a gem. The service is 6 Star. The food is 5 Star. My room was 4 Star (315). The best bit? Relaxed charm like no other. Friday Brunch at the Village is really good, I mean really good. It's a must try. Looking forward to returning in the near future

Outside seating is really good during the winter months. There are usually special promotions going on in the different bars so a good place to come for drinks.

Staff is ok but they do need professional training in customer service. Now the property, I honestly cannot comprehend how can anyone who stayed there give this hotel more than 1 star, I wish there was a 0 or minus rating so I can be completely fair with my review. The property is a disaster and looks nothing like the pictures (that’s because the pictures where taken ages ago!). It is very old and smells bad, you can actually see mold in the bath tub, disgusting! Needless to say, I could not tolerate few hours after I checked in at 4 am to go find another hotel right after sun rise! The purpose of my review is to educate people of the truth so you at least you know what to expect when you decide to book this place, but my recommendation is DO NOT stay here.

The hotel is located in the main city area and everything is reachable. The hotel has a health club, pool and a private beach. Beach doesn't actually gets you the feeling of a proper sea beach since it is surrounded by buildings and it's just the sea back water but for sometime its fine.
Talking about the rooms, Club rooms are quite small but you get the access to the the exclusive club which is not with deluxe rooms. Go for junior suite if you are looking for bigger rooms. Hotel also has a nice outdoor area and hosts a variety of different restaurants and cuisines inside the premises.
Breakfast is good but it's kinda boring after a few days since they will keep 95% of the menu unchanged everyday. For a couple of days its OK, but for a longer period u need some change.
Overall the experience is AWESOME and would like to visit again.response / report this review -

Had a fabulous time staying in Le Meridien. There are a few issues that need to be addressed concerning AI package. Example having a drink before 7 pm. if you don't fancy going down to the beach bar you cannot have a drink before dinner. And you cannot have a drink in the sports bar. We found the staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for you. A special thank you to Obalassi our waiter in the Latest Recipie restaurant and bar. He always had a lovely bright smile for you and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff were pleasant and helped make our stay unforgettable. Thank you to you all

the worst le meridian I have ever been to, rooms and hotel is not maintained well, very bad service, the valet parking guys asked me to park my car myself (I don't know why it's called valet then), please do not spoil our love for le meridian. Shut it down if you can't maintain it well!

Not as expected. Furniture are old. The Lebanese restaurant Phoenician reception lady refused to welcome us and was rude with us. We reported a complaint and no one returned back to us. Other staff members were nice and polite. Pools need to be continuously cleaned from leaves that fall off the vegetation all around them.

This is a must place to visit for tourists who love to have fun and club. It is situated in the Tourist Club Area towards exiting to Sadiyaat Island. It has close to 5 or more bars/clubs for your preference. They also have brunches every Friday and you get to drink till you drop for all my booze lovers

Excellent staff, beautiful and very convenient hotel resort in downtown and close to everything. The hospitality provided by some staff is very helpful and caring. The rates of this hotel are very affordable and the food is great. There are many choices of bars and restaurants at the hotel that you can either chill out at and/or dance at. I always use Le Meridien Abu Dhabi for these reasons. Great job guys!

The multiple pools, beach, gym and many more other areas are great to have around. My family didn't get a chance to explore outside the hotel because we weren't done exploring the inside. There's a convenient mall right beside also. The chefs are great though they do have their off day and the staff are extremely friendly.

Rough as a badgers backside. No where near its supposed star rating. Rooms very tired and shabby. Wouldnt stay there again and surprised by SPG for thinking this is acceptable. Try the Intercontinental or Sofitel for much better options.

This hotel is getting old. Although the location is perfect. The amount of money you gonna spend in this hotel is not reasonable. It's one of the first 4star hotels to be erected in Abu Dhabi.

We stayed in this hotel in Abu Dhabi for one night in between our week long leisure trip to Dubai in September 2016. This is a good hotel situated next to the Abu Dhabi Mall.
The room size was okay and the room was neat and clean. Bed linen were clean. Bath was also good with all necessary facilities. Lock on the bath door was broken and it was difficult to open the door from inside the bath, the furniture looked quite old. The room and corridors did not smell fresh.
The breakfast buffet spread was good but there were only one or two Indian dishes. Wifi was good. The staff was polite and courteous.
The hotel has a private beach on a small creek with a view of buildings on the opposite side not very far off.
Overall a good hotel and okay to stay just for a night.response / report this review
