  We applied for tourist visa for Egypt. Easy process and had passports back with visa after 5 working days. Staff were pleasant.

  Phone service is bad .. one menu after the other but no body picks up the phone. I tried day after day and the nobody picks up the phone!

  This was my first time to deal with the Egyptian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and it was a pretty good experience.
  
  My transaction took 15 minutes to be released and I would like to thank Sami Rabee who really helped me with typing a form which was not available and got it done instantly.
  
  If all government sectors in Egypt works the same way, it would be amazing.
  
  My only constructive comment is to have a counter with printed forms ready so that people can fill them up while waiting for their turns (like the one in the consulate in Dubai), it would save a big amount of time.
