Compared to other rentals I have had in the past this one was by far the worst. Not only was the sales representative who had given me the keys not polite but I had booked the car online and was to pay on site and was charged a different rate. This was then followed by an additional $105.00 being charged to my credit card without any explanation after returning the vehicle. After emailing Budget UAE about this incident and asking what that amount was for I did not receive any information/reply back. At the time of drop off the sales representative explained that everything looked good and I was free to leave. Very unprofessional, at the very least a customer should be notified as to why they are being charged. Would not recommend this location!

Helpful staff, they make sure you understand all of the small contract clauses before handing over the car. (Insurance excess, salik fee, fines fee, gas, Etc.)

Stay away. Bad customer service and company has an extremely bad debit card policy.Looks like rental company doesn't has any intention to make customers satisfied.

STAY AWAY! Outrageously bad customer service with no response what so ever. By looking at the reviews it’s pretty clear that the place is built on scammers: charging people afterwards for tickets or charging absurd amounts on small scratches; without a receipt provided. That’s what you can expect from this car rental 👎.

Stay away from them, they asked me money for a very little scratch that was there as we got the car. I had to give 50 dhs to the man for not having problems even if I had all insurances. They must control better their employees

They don't honour the EK platinum discount if you book online at full rate, no mention of that anywhere in the terms and conditions but they refuse the discount anyway. Car was average at best (Chevy spark). Very old with high mileage and in poor condition both aesthetically and mechanically. It seemed to almost stall at every stop. Fuel tank only just over half full on pick-up. They say they open at 9am, it is 9:20am now and still no one here except a line of customers outside waiting in the heat. I won't come here again ever. Best to go elsewhere!!! The only positive was that the car was clean INSIDE which is why they get 2 stars and I think I am being generous.

They should meet me in terminal 2 when I arrive to Dubai , unfortunately I had to go to terminal 3 by taxi to get the car which I paid taxi fee, and they took 2500 deposit which then they told me it takes 15 days to return

"BUDGET rent a car" seems to be more of an ironic moniker. Booking the car itself was a relatively OK experience. However they did take a total deposit of AED 3000 (for an AED 144/day car) if you pay via debit card. This was quite alarming but I still turned in the deposit as it was an urgent requirement (despite them not telling me any of this when I called in trying to book the car). When you return the car, they say that you'll receive AED 2000 of the deposit within 2 weeks and the AED 1000 within 40 days. Its been over 2 weeks already and their team still hasn't returned a single Dirham. I've called them 5 times till date following up about this and each time their excuse has been that "their systems are slow" which may as well be a placeholder excuse. Never renting from them again. Book with ANYONE but these people.

I booked a car few weeks ahead for a 3 days business trip in dubai. Wheb reach there, they I faced with a line of budget car customers who waiting for a car. They obviously sold our booked cars to walk in customers and call more cars from other locations. It was disaster. I will never try them again because customer has no value for them and they just look after more sale.
I highly advise to pay few Durhams more and book with other companies in dubai loke dollar rent a car for economical or Europe car for full peace of mind.
