Location is great, it's on the Palm with outdoor seating and has a decent sized bar and a pool table inside. Next the price, very good value especially considering its on the Palm.
And its name and other reviews state, it has a British-Indian style menu with all the usual favourite dishes.
The only thing I felt could do with some attention was the service and the food unfortunately. After reading these other reviews I could have just been unlucky.
The poppodoms were soft, not crunchy. The Madras wasnt very spicy at all and just wasn't very enjoyable. The mixed grill was a good sized portion of food and the chicken kebab meat was very tasty but the chicken breasts were really very dry.
The service was polite, we just had to ask several times for different items, and when we got them they weren't correct.
I will be going back for another try, as hopefully it may just have been an off night.response / report this review -

Make no mistake, this is a true Brit curry house.
Really good tasty food with good size portions. Nice and spicy and none of that sweet creamy sauce rubbish you get with Masala and Korma.
The bhajees at 16dhs a bowl are delicious and 32 dhs for a pint of ice cold Kingfisher is palatable.
It's a no nonsense menu with each dish priced the same.
The only let down was the service. It's not the staffs fault it's a lack of numbers. A table for 6 people requires being serviced every 10 minutes or so and better knowledge on the breads and size of would have helped.
Other than that it's one of the best curry houses in Dubai and the ambience and setting are great.
We'll done Arjee Bhajee we will come back.

Really did not like the food, it was awful. This is not the type of Indian food you get in the UK. One of the dishes i had was a lamb rogen Josh and it wasn't even edible also the rice had a horrid taste to it. The chicken tikka masala wasn't much better either. Will certainly not be going here again. Wouldn't recommend.

What a great find this place is.
A beer and a curry will set you back only 80dhs
And at 30dhs a pint during the all day happy hour great value.
