The food was very tasty we ordered the crab with black paper sauce shrimp with lemon and butter sauce and lobster with thermidor one more thing i love the fries

Novelty of the Dhow boat adds a nice ambiance, but this soon wear off as the entire surrounding area is currently a building site, very noisy and not relaxing.
Ordered Calamari for starters, came quick but over cooked.
Mixed bucket with crab, prawns and lobster was great but sauces not so, glad we got them separately, Onion ring side was far to oily and again overcooked so onions were soggy. Coleslaw side was fresh but too sweet for our taste.
Virgin Mojito pitcher was adequate
Despite complaining about the fired foods, they were not taken off the menu, a complimentary dessert was given but neither me or my wife really go for sweet dishes it was a wasted offer, I would have rather the dishes we found unpalatable be removed from bill.
Overall, considering the price and the fact this venue comes so highly recommended, ,we were a little let down and feel we had better food and ambiance at Joes` Festival City, which is similar price and food but on Entertainer.response / report this review -

Aprons and Hammers is an excellent seafood restaurant, but this specific A&H located on the marina is distinguished as it is a boat restaurant. It is perfect for when the weather is fine in Dubai. But even on warmer days, you can always choose to be seated on the covered lower deck. The place actually provides a hammer and a folded apron on each table. A classy place, great for groups and couples. Better reserve a table specially on weekends. Drinks. No shisha

This place has a great outdoor seating by the deck. We ordered the Thai curry mussels and lemon butter shrimps bucket. Both were extremely delicious. Quality of sea food is amazing, a bit overpriced but for the amount and quality of food you get, it's totally worth it. The aprons and hammers add more fun to your overall seafood experience. Also has a great variety of alcoholic drinks to go with your food.

Great location with the sea breeze on the deck of an old wooden boat. Staff were very helpful in guiding us through the menu and with recommendations. We ordered a bucket of Thai curry mussels, and a bucket of lemon butter shrimps. Both were phenomenal and incredibly fresh and tasty! Sides of paella rice and coleslaw were good. All in all a great experience and truly appreciated the aprons as sauce was flying everywhere. A great place for a big group of seafood lovers. Will definitely be returning back to try out the rest of there bucket options.
Little bit on the pricey side, but worth the overall experience and freshness.response / report this review -

We weren’t armed with our aprons and hammers on this boat docked at sea. Aprons and Hammers has a regular restaurant location, but we opted to try the one on the boat to make the experience more authentic. Well, I am glad we did because the breeze coming from the sea with the serene view made it so relaxing. The service was mediocre; they never provided us with aprons and hammers, although the utensils provided later to break the crab legs with was sufficient. I just thought even if the aprons and hammers were useless, they should still be offered to all its customers (a nearby table had them), since that was what the restaurant was named. Anyway, enough with the cutlery, let’s talk about the food. We started by ordering icy strawberry drinks that were very refreshing. I also found the breaded shrimps delicious. When it came to the mains, well, the crab was better than the lobster. I felt that the lobster was way overcooked that it had become very dry ruining the taste. The crabs were good, although I believe that they could be even better. However, the setting does compensate for what is lacking in the food. All in all, it was a lunch that left me feeling calm and happy.

My friend actually invited me there, and when we arrived, guess what, (Spoiler Alert) IT WAS A BOAT!!!! Like who would've guessed! A f'ing boat!!
Food was amazing and waiters had an amazing attitude. I ate so much fish, shrimps and crabs I felt like my stomach is an aquarium!
A restaurant in a BOAT! I've been there like 2 years ago and I can't get over it.

It was the worst experience I have ever had in restaurant, all started when I booked a table for dinner last night at the branch of "Mina Seyahi Beach Resort" and when I arrived there I was shocked when the security guards told me that the boat Already moved from there for more than a month, and no one informed me on the phone, even I made the reservation to the contact number which is on their website that related to the branch of "Mina Seyahi Beach Resort ''. We moved after that to the JBR branch and we were shocked from the awful experience we had, very rude and unpolite staff (I suspect they had had any training ever), and the chairs of inside seating were very dirty, the waiter passed by Us twice while we are standing and waiting for him to come and he even did not bother himself to ask what's wrong, then we decided to sit outside which they had worst service and the same rude staff. And for sure we moved to another restaurant after sitting outside for 10 minutes and no one came to take the order. And by the way that the restaurant was not crowded so I think there will not be any excuse to say.
It was very bad experience and we will never do it again and will never recommend someone to go there.response / report this review -

Amazing seafood restaurant located at the Marina in Dubai. The restaurant is on a ship, but has a beautiful view of the marina and the food is worth the price.
