Really disappointed. Very expensive for nothing special at all. Had to send the steak back, the sides where even more disappointing. The parmesan mash had 0 taste of parmesan. The tomato avocado salad, with 1 small single piece of avocado. And the sauces for the steaks where also charged to the bill.
2 glasses of wine and 2 bottles of water and the bill came to 1400 Aed or £270.

The service was the only thing good here honestly. I tried the best dishes supposedly from the food menu,& they were lacking in flavor & were warm/cold. The appetizers were bland, the main course had beef that tasted very strangely and had a chewy texture that lasted a while. I had ordered a side of their infamous spiced carrots & they were completely undercooked and hard. It is mentioned that their potato gratin comes with multiple ingredients, unfortunately you can only taste just the potato and cheddar/parmesan cheese. I was disappointed too that all of the sides and the main courses were overly salted . All in all it wasn’t the worst experience I had . But it was a disappointment to get such a quality for the price I invested in them.

Lovely atmosphere, fantastic food. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. “Loved the freshly baked soda bread” Will be back.

A must-try Inside the Al Qasr hotel tucked away from the bustling shops. The ambiance and service was amazing. Joseph was our server and took very good care of us. Reasonable priced food and drinks. Would definitely go again and sad we missed out on brunch. You must have a reservation to get in the hotel, but be sure to enter through the ritzy Al Qasr hotel if possible or you’ll get lost trying to find it.

Good spot. As an American Styled Steakhouse it was good I guess but at double the price of a Capitol Grill and with wine prices at 7.5x retail I won’t be back. Dry-aged steak was great!

Very keen and prompt service , and great steaks that just melt in your mouth.

This place has nothing special about it. When it comes to the food it isn't really that great. There is nothing special about for the high prices you pay.

Good food but expensive. The food here should be fantastic and the best in Dubai for the price.
Personally, nothing here feels overly special and Jumeirah perform better elsewhere in all criteria. If you have the entertainer or go for gentlemen's night it would be okay.
Atmosphere is missing "something" but can't put my finger on it. Staff are friendly as always.response / report this review -

A new addition to Madinat Jumeirah's ever growing list. Hide is an awesome fine dining American restaurant. I believe the only thing that is a turn-off about this restaurant is their slow service. Other than that the food, the staff are all great. Obviously not a place recommended for vegetarians ;) (It's a bit too meaty)
