look, the food and supplies etc are good, but the smell of the place is unimaginable, all of the animals are in small cages, they never walk the dogs, 3 cats in one cage!! one of the hamsters had an eye infection which was untreated, all of the gerbils and mice had mites, they were scratching each other like crazy and had red bumps all over their body, if they can afford to get the pets why cant they afford to get them treated? the staff is unimaginably careless, i was talked to one of them and they were on their phone the entire time and didn't look at me once, when i asked for help i was ignored. but one of them is good, she's a woman with dark hair, she's the only person who works there that actually cares about the customers, you can't play with the dogs anymore which is sad since they're already in the cages 24/7, and the price of the dogs are waaaay to expensive, a dog would cost around 7500 - 8500 which is too much for a dog if you ask me, most of the animals look scared and sad. i really hope someone sues them for the lack of care for the animals. i really wanted a dog and its just way to pricey. hope someone else gives it a good home!

Today I went into the shop- and xame out crying!
this animals are kept on top of each other!
Poor dogs are held in the smallest cages and the moment they seen me they were trying to attract my attention, just to be free from there !
I was so irritated by this treatment, such a rich city and yet they put dogs and BIG cats like two or three together in the small cages.. they cannot move or walk more than one step up or down
I wish this is illegal because I don’t know how long one animal can stay in such a small space without a proper walk
humans are the worst species in the world!!!

this is a really nice pet shop . it allows people to choose the dog andplay with it so it know how the dog reacts to the person but the only thing is that they only people to play with dogs and not other animals such as parrots , rabbits and cats but still its a really nice pet shop .

I love the diversity of animals such as ferrets, bunnies, hamsters, reptiles, birds, cats, fish, and many others. Those are the only good things about it.
The noise there is deafening, the price is to much for a hamster let alone a dog! The smell is putrid and the staff is very unfriendly. You can tell the animals are treated like trash from lack of human interaction. I am trying to get a dog for my 13th birthday, please inform me about a GOOD pet shop. Also, don't think that just one particular branch is bad, in almost all Animal World branches, it's the same thing. One in peculiar at Dubai bird and Pet market has the animals fighting each other the attention of a human being!! I suggest people should boycott this establishment for they are the definition of animal cruelty !response / report this review -

A lot of animals to look at and interact with. Also there are a lot of pet choices! But there are terrible smells and the animals are treated badly and the price is over the top expensive.

The only reason we go is because they have good & cheap cat litter ( Cathy cat). Other than that the animals are kept in dirty cages, usually wity urine soaked newspaper and their sh!t everywhere. Today I went and was very close to taking a puppy because she was wet through in urine and it broke my heart. Then they told me they wanted over 9,000AED for her. Extortionate!!!!! I left with out her & heart broken.

As a pet shop I absolutely hate this place. Its very small. Smells really bad. Noisy. Over priced.
The reason why I am even given 3 stars is
1. They got really good variety of treats, toys and accessories.
2. Also they got some good varieties of pet food.
3.The old man who takes care of all the animals over there is really gentle with them.

Ridiculously high priced 💵 pet shop with variety of animals and birds cringed together, making them irritated and scared.
The poor parrots have become depressed and aggressive because of the constant, non-monitored interaction with customers and their children.
Top floor pet food and accessory section is nice.response / report this review
