Truly exceptional. Just wow.
1.) The service & people. The staff in the hotel, from restaurant to housekeeping, is just amazing. They know what you are looking for before you can ask. Always friendly. I have stayed in many 5 star houses but this is the best I have experienced so far.
2.) The location. In a desert conservation area, with oryx, many gazelles (visiting you next to your pool), the birds, the silence. An amazing place for nature lovers, animal lovers and those seeking full privacy & recovery. No one can enter the resort area without a booking. The suites, with their private pool, are just quiet and and fully private.
3.) The food. From breakfast over lunch to dinner - it’s food to die for. I am an absolute foodie, and the chef surprised me every day with unique food, from vegetarian to fish to meat. My absolute favorite: the scallop tempura. And for those too lazy to walk to the restaurant: you can always enjoy the same amazing food in your room!
4.) The activities. Camel riding. Check. Dune driving. Check. Falconry. Check. Just an opportunity to experience the desert in full. And if you just want to relax, your private pool is always there!
5.) Worth the price? Absolutely yes. I have been to many places, Al Maha is just truly memorable. We will be back!response / report this review -

Everything about this place is excellent. The huts are a bit outdated (electric sockets availability and limited size TV). Other than that - everything was magnificent from the team level of professionalism to the quality of food. Just loved every single minute of it.

This place is truly unique and wonderful. Food also very good! The staff in particular make the whole experience perfect. I would like to make special mention of Dinah who welcomed us and Karlich & Liam who both ensured we had unforgettable moments and lots of fun. We will definitely be returning!

This resort has so perfectly captured the Arabian charm, very authentic and a true oasis with so many beautiful and friendly animals coming to greet you just at your villas backyard.
Food is great- I do recommend to try the floating breakfast experience. It’s an experience in itself to have a lazy breakfast in the pool while enjoying looking at the gazelles go about their day.
As a recommendation to the hotel- I imagine if a hot air balloon experience would be offered, it would be an absolute hit!

I had a booking for two nights. I had an upgrade for my booking. We enjoyed the activities they offering for the guests. Starting from the sunset dune walk and the falconry show. The suite was specious and the swimming pool was amazing and can adjust the water temperature. The stuff were friendly and helpful.
Really enjoyed my stay in those two nights. And I’ll recommend it.response / report this review -

Al Maha is an incredible place. I chose it for a special occasion and found it exceptional. The location in the desert conservation reserve is a magnificent setting to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of the city and the free roaming wild life is such an added treat for nature lovers.
The accommodation is of a very high standard and perfect for couples who want relaxation and privacy. The sunset camel ride is a must and the private deck dining service is the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion. Well done to Mira and all involved in the running of Al Maha.

WOW! WOW! WOW!!!!
Villa 6 is absolutely ridiculous. The view, the privacy, the bed!!! Alvin, Remy, Sionaid & Shaz just to name a few of the incredible staff here at Al Maha. Honestly, the service ethic here is just ‘make the customer happy’. Even little details like stopping the buggy whilst you walk just to avoid any noise pollution for you. LOL I’m serious!
Room service is restaurant quality and towels are softer than my 2 year olds skin. Limited number of guests so you feel extremely valued and special.
One of the top 5 GLOBAL Hotels we have ever been to.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner included in room price and the food is. just amazing!

Hands down, the best hotel in the UAE. Less than an hour from Dubai, Al Maha seems a world away. Relax in your villa and just watch the local wildlife wondering past as you float in your private pool. You will not hear another person so its a great place to relax and enjoy the fantastic amenities

Unique resort with unique experiences. Staff are wonderful with nothing being too much trouble. Food is fantastic and unlike other resorts, if they have the ingredients they'll make any meal you fancy.

Removed from the chaos of the world, this is resort is amazing at making you feel as if you are there only one that matters. Great place to enjoy alone or with loved ones!!! The remote location gives it even more of that exclusive feel. I will definitely be returning once I get free up with the world again!

Middle of desert, bold and adventurous. Good for relaxing and swim. Do not expect night life. All activities in day time. Almost 30 minutes drive out of the hotel to meet the city. One hour drive to main city centre. Professional staff and services. Food is expensive, taste and services great.

Absurdly awesome. Staff couldn't be more accommodating. They are competent, prompt, and representative of the Luxerey brand. The views of the desert are serene, beautiful, and private inside the conservation reserve. The food was outstanding and covers most ethnic choices. If you can afford it, you cannot get more value for your money.

Luxury has a new standard. It was my first time a desert resort. It's location inside of a reserve making a fantastic location to spot wildlife. The resort itself is collection a house or bungalows that require a golf cart to take you there.
