Nice place to visit, but don’t expect to spend long time inside, as it is a little bit small, but rich in culture
A good place to learn a bit about Sharjah's history.
Another historical gem in Sharjah that everyone should visit if they want to learn more about the emirate and its rulers. They put a lot of work, effort and thought into designing the overall space. Admission tickets are very affordable, and from here, you can also access several other nearby museums. It is a good choice if you have friends visiting from abroad and you want to show them a slice of Sharjah history.
Very interesting place if you want to know more about Sharjah you should go to Al Hisn
Sharjah Fort / Al Hisn is really worth of visit if you wanna understand a bit history of Sharjah and the way of life of its rulers. With joint ticket (20 aed adults, 10 ead children) you can visit three other nearby museums. My recommendations.
Average place. you wont find a lot of artifacts but one can hav a glimpse into the history of the Emirate of Sharjah. They used to have amazing music and light show annually, earlier, which has continuously gone from bad to worse, year to year.
Al HISN fort museum is situated on the center of HISN Avenue. It’s one of the oldest museum which has been built by coral stones in olden days. It has been renovated with the stones and concrete to give strength to the wall. We can see the historical monuments and pictures at this calm and quiet.
Very good, calm, fantastic place in the heart of sharjah.
It was an amazing visit with my better half..
On that day sharjah light festival also welcomed us. We are excited
A neat way to get a sense of Sharjah’s history. Interesting exhibits. They have headsets for extra information which I recommend.
Everyone should learn from Sharjah how to preserve their heritage.
Historic place to take kids and family , especially the hospitality and good manner of officials there is appriciable..
The museum being located right in the heart of sharjah may be a tight spot to reach but it reflects the very breath that resounds from the surrounding environment. The old historic value that it speaks in volume plus the idyllic seaside which adds a different shade. The parking may be kind of cumbersome but who discovering involves walking.
Lovely place. Lots of differently themed museums here. Doesn't have a lot of visitors though the state of maintenance is too notch. Very hospitable staff. They even have calligraphy classes to do here at very affordable rates. Everyone must visit it.
Well preserved museum with interesting artifacts, for a quick brush with history
Good and old place
Different look of sharjah and arabian culture
A beautiful place, with antique Facade
Again old memories! You must go and visit it. You'll love it.
Once being at the edge of the city and protecting it from the ground this Fort is now one of the very nice museums in Sharjah, surrounded by tall buildings, but still reminding of how the life looked like here a century ago.
A Historic place and a must visit in UAE/ Sharjah
A very important place and a must see if you are in Sharjah and UAE. It a historical site and right at the Heritage area.
The fort is small but impressive and gives an insight into the historical past of this wonderful city. Its well maintained and has exhibits and artifacts which are interesting.
A must see for History and Heritage lovers.
A small museum which can give you an insight into Sharjah's history. We were late to reach and hence had to rush. You need at least 2 hours if your are a serious visitor. If there was a guide it would have been great.
