There are kind of tourist places in Abu Dhabi which you can hardly find in any other part of the world. Built to mark the completion of 40 years of UAE Central Bank, the museum was inaugurated in the year 2013, and has been a major one among Abu Dhabi attractions since then.
The museum houses various exhibits that have articles like gold and silver Islamic coins. Old Indian currency and currencies from other Middle East nations are also on display at the museum. The museum also throws light on the historical aspect of the region, making it one of the best places to visit in Abu Dhabi for educational purpose.

the museum is good..but they charge for every entrance like Park entrance, Aquarium entrance, museum entrance and for the mini train tooapprox. cost for everything is AED 10+

Simply the best place for price. Nice ride through the history of Abu Dhabi. Aquarium is huge with good collection of marine fish and a seaturtle. Beat part is the park usually not crowded. While you are there catch the train ride and barbeque corn as well. Highly recommended for family time.

A quick tour of U.A.E. history on a cabin like electric cart where audio recording is being played while you sit and listen as it takes you to different history lessons.

A bit old but quite interesting. The entrance costs only a few dirhams and you learn about the history of the emirate. Interesting for adults and children.

Nothing much there apart from a single ride. It's not even a museum, just a paid joyride that tells you about abu Dhabi history. The ride is 3 dh. It's only worth going to if you are nearby. It also has an aquarium which is included in the ticket

Once you manage to find the place it's a nice little visit.
Entrance signage, display or directions all are pretty limited. When arriving it was rather empty, lots of space, they obviously planned it to be super busy but it's looking a bit tired.
That being said it's a nice little activity and to learn about some culture.response / report this review -

Awesome place. Nice to spend one evening.
I found lot of wrong information in before comments by others. Actually, it's only 3AED and less entrance fee for each ride.
Historic tunnel gives audio information on English also.

Not a bad museum but on the ride boy speaks arabic, but not only arabic but emirati so even if you do speak arabic chances are you won't understand him.

Interesting little museum. one is taken in moving top- rail chairs through the museum and at the end is an aquarium with some sharks, a turtle and other fish. Entry fee is AED 3 for everyone 3 and above. The tour takes about 10 to 15 min. (And AED 1 for the park entrance for 12 and above.)
