Great hotel!. Went in the summer and loved it. The outside area is great the food is nice and if you love skiing this is a great place for it in the winter as well!.
One of the best hotel in Grandvalira area and for sure the best in El Tarter. A ski in ski out hotel with free parking, swimming pool, sauna and turkish bath offer. The buffet offer is various and very tasty, it's difficult not to taste everything. Bar and living areas are comfortable with great views. Happy hour available every days at the games room. Snooker, table football and bowling available. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with views to the mountains and the slopes. Friendly staff always committed to help and provide the best experience at the hotel.
Lovely hotel in Andorra, which is starte on the slopes. They have a games room and also do happy hour every night between 6 and 7.
The food at this hotel is good and friendly staff
Experience started poorly when we arrived at 11.30pm tired and hungry. We had contacted them in advance and arranged for a cold meal for the party on arrival. The receptionist said the kitchen was closed, there was no food and we would have to sort it in the morning and he walked off. Fortunately one of the waiters was more helpful. He took a copy of our email confirming the arranged cold meal to a different night manager who opened the cold buffet to allow us to eat.
On the first couple of nights they split our family group onto 2 tables in different parts of the restaurant. We asked if we could be seated together and were told it would be arranged for that evening's meal. When we came down for that no table was had been sorted. After standing our ground they sorted the table and apologized with a bottle of bubbly with the meal.
Most of the staff were helpful and friendly. The food was good and plentiful with a wide choice buffet at breakfast and in the evening.
The location is great with the ski storage room opening onto the piste beside the chairlift and skiing back to the same.
There is free use of a pool, steam room and gym. There is a games room to keep the kids entertained.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and it was a pity that our initial experience was poor, but I would go back again.
Comfortable hotel, good food.
Late summer 2017, Coach Tour of Andorra, Hotel Nordic was the Best bit & Fantastic. Staff were helpful and understanding. All rooms have a balcony and our view was stunning. Regular buses to the capital and attractions. Cannilo, caught the ski lift to the ski village, no snow but plenty to keep you interested.
We stayed in one of the apartments (2 adults and 2 children) and we were very happy with the hotel. It really is ski-in, ski-out and we thought the food choices were excellent. We would certainly return
The settings of the hotel in the summer are breathtaking. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The outdoor pool is amazing.
Wifi in the room is extra and is very poor.
Food- wide selection both during breakfast and dinner but the quality of the pastries and cooked food is low to moderate and doesn't stand up to Spanish pastries and food quality you can find in ordinary restaurants.
Good food, poor WiFi. Great cars and bikes.
Fantastic hotel, comfortable, great food and location for the slopes perfect.
Fantastic Place You can Ski right up TO THE BACK DOOR 😜
Very nice rooms, best location in Andorra, nice view. The only deception was the food, it was only acceptable.
Un hotel muy acogedor, el metre del comedor muy amable
Muy buena colección de motos antiguas
El servicio self servicios del comedor muy bueno
WiFi is very slow, and on most of mobile devices the Internet for the room doesn't works. The food in buffet could be better
This hotel is definitely not worth the 4 stars it boasts. They rip off the customers because they are on the slopes. Don't count on having a nice view. Count on paying extra for absolutely everything, ranging from the extra 3 euros per day to use the safe in the room (what's?!!), to forcing you to buy a 'hair cap' to go into the jacuzzi!!!
The food is clearly frozen or from cans.
Reception is inefficient and despicable.
Having spent a week there, it was really sad to leave such a wonderful place. The interior was nice, rooms were cosy, although our standard room seemed a bit worn out and adjusting the temperature inside was kind of a challenge, which I never coped with. Paying some extra money would give you a room facing the slopes, which didn't appear reasonable, since we found the view of the town more attractive. While breakfasts, however tasty they were, did not provide many options, dinners were truly impressive with a lavish choice of meals to satisfy everybody. As for the location, it's really great and convenient to have a lift just a few metres away from the lockers room, especially after a long day on the slopes. Finally to crown it all, what deserved special attention and left us completely enthralled was the staff; rarely have I seen so pleasant, friendly, helpful and simply adorable people to help you out.
That being said, poor WiFi and a really small spa area (it's not about crowdedness, it's about too little space to accommodate the crowd) were nothing to complain about and could not spoil the overall good impression.
Great value out if season
