Quaint, rustic charm in a relaxing bush setting. Bar and restaurant facilities were not available owing to a private function. I felt it was a bit over priced for very basic accommodation.

Nice and cozy place But so many small things to improved on.lets just start at front of desk service our booking was made long time in advance payment made same time but no confirmation back even after enquiring again and again.Please also dont oil up the wooden cabins just before people check in a stained white shirt that i have to go to wedding not nice or atleast put sighn up.

Reception was locked on arrival, owner was nowhere to be found. Interior was out of date, the matress was the worst. No hot water in the shower and a power outage added to the fact that this most expensive night of our trip was our worst so far.

A relaxed environment, lots to do and friendly service. Ticks all the boxes and more. Allen and the Woodlands staff are all very passionate about the area and they make it easy to make the most of a visit.

We've stayed here on several occasions and have to say that Bev hits it out the park when it comes to hospitality.

The rooms were comfortable and scenic in the thick Eastern Cape Bush and Bev is full of knowledge about the area and great things to get up to.

Well worth the visit!
